The Openly Psychotic Administration of a Sociopathic Nation posted by ziggy, 2013-01-27 07:31:36 The first thing you learn about psychosis is that it thinks its normal; a psychotic is incapable of observing his/her own psychosis as a serious mental illness. Plastered across the American and International mass media today is the headline, "[Clinton] one of the finest Secretaries of State we’ve had!" 'Kill list' and Drone killer of numerous innocent children, US president Barack Obama, took the opportunity on 60 minutes to "publicly" praise outgoing sociopath Hillary Clinton for such classic and revealing one liners as, 'we came, we saw, he died,' clearly accepting responsibility for the intervention in Libya and proxy assassination of its legitimate leader Col. Gaddafi and the recent pounding of her desk in answer to a US Senator questioning her failure regarding the 'Benghazi incident' -- well, it takes one to know one, doesn't it, Barack? How many innocent children have we killed this week and how many errands have we run for the ruling plutocracy? (full story) prose / international
Coles Shoots Self in Foot in ‘Battle’ of the ‘Supermarket Giants’ posted by shopper, 2013-01-24 23:51:20 A recent story in the Sydney Morning Herald feigning some sort of “battle" between an infamous Australian supermarket duopoly clearly required a broader perspective, which I happened to be in the perfect position to provide. Obama Protects his Wall Street Masters but Pursues Whistleblowers with a Vengeance posted by jess, 2013-01-23 23:21:50 A servant's job is to serve his master above everything else, so we shouldn't be surprised that the Big money interests that put Obama in the White House twice, are dutifully cared for by a bought and owned Obama. State and Non-State Actors and the ‘new’ Cyber Threat posted by jude, 2013-01-23 09:59:37 It’s ‘out’ with the long or perpetual war on the noun terror and non-State actors and ‘in’ with the new long war strategy in cyberspace against real States -- though we should all be aware that most non-State actors (so-called terrorists) were armed trained and supported by States, so let’s cut the pretend ‘distinction’ for starters; it was always the States intervening directly or by proxy, the KLA in Kosovo and al-Qaeda in Libya, Syria and Mali are all supported by the US government. The Obama Story posted by barry, 2013-01-22 20:36:41 I am a shameless lackey to the plutocrats and betrayer of the people; I facilitate every instruction and fulfil every wish of the minority ruling elite -- the long established status quo has not veered off course with me in the White House, my masters are well pleased. “Conspiracy Theory” - Language as Weapon posted by Prof. James F Tracy via sam, 2013-01-22 09:01:46 “Conspiracy theory” is a term that at once strikes fear and anxiety in the hearts of most every public figure, particularly journalists and academics. Since the 1960s the label has become a disciplinary device that has been overwhelmingly effective in defining certain events off limits to inquiry or debate. Especially in the United States raising legitimate questions about dubious official narratives destined to inform public opinion (and thereby public policy) is a major thought crime that must be cauterized from the public psyche at all costs. Cultural Genocide posted by laurie, 2013-01-22 01:56:11 It is with much sadness that I read the AFP article on an Australian Aboriginal ‘Art’ exhibition in Paris; it reminded me of my days in the great Australian desert country, the ‘red centre’ or ‘outback,’ as it is known to the descendants of white invaders. Pervasive Fear Grips American Society and affects Political Commentary posted by jude, 2013-01-20 08:32:54 Let it be stated at the outset that there is something seriously wrong with a nation/population that fears its own government. The genitally groped, comprehensively surveilled and threatened with indefinite detention or ‘kill list’ assassination American people are clearly one such oppressed population. A nation that is controlled by criminals easily becomes a terrorist State that oppresses its own people and other nations if it is militarily able to do so. In view of pervasive corruption, fear and suppression, American journalists seem afraid to name criminal names and speak the truth of crime and corruption at the highest levels of society. Mind Chains: A Captive Generation posted by sam, 2013-01-19 07:16:14 A popular adage of my youth was, “don’t trust anyone over thirty!” Those days saw the youth at the vanguard of reform, social change and social justice, which they succeeded in achieving to a large degree, if only for a brief period. Today, however, we could comfortably reverse that adage to, ‘don’t trust anyone under thirty!’ (full story) prose / international
Obama: Wall Street and Corporate Puppet Extraordinaire posted by Stephen Lendman via stan, 2013-01-18 21:15:44 Seriously now, is anyone out there familiar with people that continue to entertain the idea that US Presidents represent the majority? If so, I strongly suggest reviewing your associations and possible friendships -- it was aptly put some time ago, "let the dead bury the dead." Obama is perhaps the most servile president to the plutocrats in modern history; he is both a traitor to his race -- and an insult to men like Martin Luther King and Malcolm X -- and a treasonous dog to his nation. A bullet in the brain is too good for such traitorous vermin. Justice and the rope are far more appropriate. (full story) prose / international
Mad Hatter 'Logic' and Red Queen 'Law' in America Today posted by Nima Shirazi via sal, 2013-01-18 20:31:08 On January 15, 2013, University of Houston Law Center professor Jordan Paust penned an article titled, "Iran's Nuclear Weapons Program and Lawful Israeli Self-Defense," which was published on Jurist, a website of analysis and opinion pieces written by law professors, lawyers, and legal scholars. It is clear throughout Paust's piece that his arguments are neither sound nor based in fact, and unfortunately rely entirely on false premises and long debunked propaganda. Paust himself is a contributing editor to Jurist. (full story) prose / international

The Seeds of Self-Destruction posted by jude, 2013-01-17 21:35:24 Every species on the planet has encoded in its DNA the seeds of its own destruction. Should a species become a threat to the ecosystem then self-destruct mechanisms ‘kick in’ and there is nothing that can reverse the inevitable pruning back of the species until it poses no threat.
