Manning pre-trial: 'Aiding the Enemy' -- which enemy?
by judd Wednesday, May 22 2013, 1:13am
international / prose / post

The criminal Pentagon (proven) and its prosecution in the Manning case is to proceed with the charge of "Aiding the Enemy;" however, that charge raises a number of critical issues -- foremost, which enemy?

Both the military and the US president swear an oath to protect the nation against all enemies DOMESTIC and FOREIGN and it seems that is what Manning was doing after he attempted unsuccessfully to bring issues to the attention of the clearly rotten to the core, military hierarchy. Manning, true to his oath and a person of high moral character, refused to ignore the crimes the military was committing; having few alternative options he then decided to publish incontrovertible evidence of BLATANT AND HEINOUS WAR CRIMES COMMITTED BY THE US MILITARY in order to shine a light on the dark and hidden activities of the US military. In that sense Manning was honoring his oath by exposing DOMESTIC ENEMIES -- the US remains the leading civilian killing (terrorist by definition) nation in the world today!

Notwithstanding that the trial itself is a classic Alice in Wonderland inversion of reason and justice -- the person who exposed war crimes is charged and placed on trial NOT the criminal perpetrators -- it now appears that the prosecution will be forced to define who or what the enemy actually is; it is now internationally known that the US utilizes the services of al-Qaeda and various other Jihadist terrorist groups to fight its proxy wars in North Africa and the Middle East -- remember the oath, 'foreign and domestic!'

It is no secret that ALL the Wars prosecuted over the past decade by the US have been resource wars fought in the interests of the Corporations/Banks. We should all recall how Obama and the DOJ refused to pursue rogue Wall St criminals but rather (under clear instruction from the plutocrats) 'decided' to obsessively pursue whistle-blowers instead.

History would be well served by challenging the idiocy of this case in every respect, including defining the term 'enemy,' and demanding that the real criminal enemies of the State/Nation be charged and placed on trial for their KNOWN CRIMES. Wonder no more why the criminal Pentagon refuses to make the Manning trial an open trial -- certainly Manning has no problem with that prospect. And as we all know the righteous have nothing to hide; secrecy as JFK once said, is used by nefarious cabals and CRIMINALS.

We look forward to the prosecution attempting to define 'enemy,' and by so doing digging an ever deeper hole for the Pentagon and corrupt administration in this post-modern age of illegal wars and social injustice.

If history has taught us anything it has taught us that trials of such monumental injustice such as Manning's become fully exposed in the end and would actually assist in the overthrow of the criminal MINORITY that has hijacked American DEMOCRACY.

Bradley Manning stands a HERO of the highest caliber, today and forever, and there is nothing the criminal ruling elite can do about it -- the flame of TRUTH is never extinguished!
