Torture

torture is to be
in a sea
of understanding
and be
misunderstood
or watch people
enjoying each others’
company
and then having to
endure one’s ‘friends’
i have been tortured in the classic sense
by the police in Sydney
who mistook me for a terrorist or drug dealer
or something else that inhabitants their
sophisticated world,
it changed my life -- the torture
how could it not?
but nothing compares to
nature gone aberrant
a woman, a mother
that turns on her spouse
driving him to suicide
then starting on her 11 year old son
always careful
never to use physical force/violence
what need does a psychopathic woman
have of physical strength when she
has mastered the art of psychological
and emotional torture?
