Confronting REALITY

The world today is ‘smaller’ than it has ever been in recorded history. As a result, the human species has been forced to confront itself and deal with its innate negative tendencies/behaviours, which of course are unmistakably evident today. Conflict, violence, wars, greed, all of which behaviours/tendencies arise from self-ishness and the ensuing lack of cooperation; people will either be forced to realise that humanity is indeed one or destroy itself. This is the basic and inescapable reality confronting the world today.

The digital revolution has effectively eliminated borders, people everywhere are able to obtain all manner of information and disseminate their ideas and personal views; the result, as we see, is chaos, whereas harmony should be the outcome as we are indeed ONE. There is nothing new under the sun regarding human behaviour but nature/existence/evolution is forcing us now to DEAL with our weaknesses and evil tendencies. The species as we know is capable of the most sublime heights, extraordinary benevolence and above all LOVE, which capacity we have all inherited from creation. We would all do well to ask ourselves where LOVE arises, as all humanity shares that ability/experience.

And so the REAL war, which expresses itself physically, finds its source and driving energy within ourselves. Do you imagine the world is as it is accidentally or due to unsolvable minority interventions? Not a chance, if we were at peace within ourselves and each other, the world reflecting our inner calm and joy, would also be at peace but just take a look at it, it’s a nightmare clearly headed for a nihilistic conclusion.

People often ask, why are things as they are and why don’t our leaders resolve the horrid issues that would, if left unresolved, destroy us all and most of the planet. Today it is simply INSANE to pursue conflict and war.

The crisis of humanity is at critical mass, never before in history, though the same inherent negative tendencies reigned supreme in the past, was/is humanity capable of annihilating itself, and so we have NO CHOICE if we wish to survive.

Projecting our problems onto our leaders, which are merely reflections of ourselves, or onto the demonised ‘other’ which reflects the exact same negativity back onto us, have of course proven to be counterproductive and destructive, yet we do not see, we remain trapped in our personal delusions and created hells and in our pain, which arises from our internal and external disharmony, we attempt to resolve it by destroying what we IMAGINE is the external cause of our suffering, yet reality dictates the CAUSE is within ourselves.

Clearly, if we intend to overcome and survive we MUST ALL accept RESPONSIBILITY for the horrid reality WE have created and cease our destructive and futile negative behaviours/projections, as WE ARE RESPONSIBLE for the world as it is today -- plain to see. What we do to the other we in fact do to ourselves, good or bad.

Now, we should all be aware of the few remarkable individuals that have altered the course of history for the common good, their essential message is BROTHERLY LOVE and mutual cooperation for the benefit of ALL, which of course is the antithesis of selfishness; these great souls had realised the greater harmony to which all creation/humanity has access to by birthright -- no-one is able to disconnect us from that source but ourselves, as no-one else has the power to do so. So again we are left to confront OURSELVES not play blame or projection games AVOIDING OUR RESPONSIBILITY.

And so evolution has brought us to this critical point and if we fail the test then another cosmic flowering would replace us; the indestructible, infinite process of harmony/love accepts all of its creation unconditionally, if we perish it is because WE have rejected it.

Therefore the solution to all the world’s/OUR problems is in essence only a decision away. It really is that simple. And we ALL KNOW IT!
