Why Learn the Hard Way, Australia?
by claire Thursday, Dec 29 2016, 8:42pm
international / prose / post

AGAIN, we see a government that CLEARLY does not represent the majority of Australians, big surprise, (sarcastically)! Turnbull has done NOTHING to improve the lot of average Aussies, in fact, he has attacked the vulnerable and elderly by reducing much needed pension/education funds, for which the conservatives will pay a hefty price. He has ignored the plight of our youth with his American user pays model in education, and we all know what that produces -- morons and presidents like Bush and lackeys like Obama -- Australia's 'free', traditional, equal opportunity education policies produce the best graduates by attrition, which is also the model the Chinese have adopted and their meteoric rise in world affairs speaks for itself.

Insular elitist Turnbull callously attacks the vulnerable while gifting HIS elite private sector friends with $50 billion in tax and other breaks, is that a surprise? Of course NOT! Conservatives traditionally LIE to the masses to get elected then serve their elite friends, historical FACT! But has the Oz public learned to avoid unrepresentative government like the PLAGUE? It seems not, as elite serving, Aussie battler bashing, conservatives are constantly re-elected.

Turnbull is a washout for numerous reasons, he was unable to take the reins of leadership in his own party so what hope could a spineless, narcissistic clown like Turnbull offer a nation -- clearly NONE?

Turnbull is now a HUGE liability, as his only talents seem to be his insularity/disconnect and his ability to turn the public against his party, which will spend years in the political wilderness after transparent Turnbull is deposed. Even if Turnbull was replaced months back, the dishonest, treacherous character of the Libs is now well KNOWN and they haven’t got a chance at the next election, simply because they lack all CREDIBILITY, and like the masses of numerous other western nations, the Oz public now sees through the LIES and deception of conservative politics, which always screws the public and favours minority elites, another easily verified historical fact.

The question now begging is how will the conservatives plan their next move, and what feeble crowd/'perception management' strategies would they employ to lie themselves back into office as they are now a KNOWN quantity -- lies, cliche’s and slogans simply don’t cut it with the Oz public anymore?

The Libs have sealed their own fate with bad choices, internal bickering and an absurd adherence to an outdated ideology. Even Askin, former Liberal premier of NSW stated that the success to his tenure was that he appreciated that NSW was a Labor state and governed accordingly -- something Baird wishes he learned, as he has already committed political suicide by pursuing a hard core, insensitive and callous conservative ideology.

While indeed it could be said of the Liberals in general, “when will they ever learn?” It seems the abused and taken for granted Australian public has learned its lessons well.

It all adds up to GOODBYE Liberals, it wasn’t nice knowing you.
