What’s the point of Law and Conventions if they are Flouted?

Allowing corrupt, elite serving, unrepresentative governments freedom to mass murder and wage illegal wars is pure insanity.

It is not the fault of laws which were created in order to prevent what is occurring in the world today, it is the failure to enforce them and prosecute offenders. Over the past fifteen years the USA has ignored, flouted or otherwise contorted existing laws to allow it to commit the most heinous crimes of any State since WWII, fact! Most of the inner circle of the Bush regime are war criminals, pure and simple, but not one offender has been held to account, Why? Everyone seems to waiting for someone else to do something about it, however, after 15 years of unbridled criminality surely it has become evident that the passive approach has failed as the world is a far more unstable and dangerous place than it was fifteen years past, and remember, the criminal leaders of the time stated that their criminal escapades were designed to 'keep us safe,' what a total croc! The obvious truth is governments have trashed democracy and serve profit driven interests, which consider the people expendable -- or haven’t you noticed? The world is not safer as promised it is downright ready to explode in everyone's face.

I recall the much quoted admission of George ‘new world order’ H. Bush,"if the American people knew what we have done, they would string us up from the lamp posts.” Well, rest easy nefarious ruling elites, as the people have proven, over the past 15 years, they are not capable of saving themselves.

So let’s not play the blame game but rather intervene and not only save ourselves from clearly psychopathic maniacs, but save the world in the process -- or haven’t you realised that REAL democracy is not a spectator sport -- democracy is constant participation by the majority, especially when things go terribly wrong. Indeed, it is NOW TIME to start decorating lamp posts after holding our criminal leaders to account.

If the people fail in their social responsibilities, which is really failing themselves, then who do they expect to save them, the criminals they’ve allowed to push the world to the brink of nuclear war? Not likely! If you are looking for those responsible for the current state of the world, look no further than your mirror. I know its uncomfortable but it’s the TRUTH!
