Turnbull does an Abbott

Confronted by the media regarding an alleged refugee boat from Indonesia being towed out to sea after entering Australian waters -- an action in clear breach of UN conventions -- actually towed from a few hundred metres from Christmas Island, Turnbull's response sounded like an echo from the recent past, "I can't help you other than to say that we do not comment on operational matters." Sound familiar?

Now imagine a journalist confronting Adolf Hitler and asking him to confirm reports about SS concentration camps and the "final solution" for German Jews, and Hitler resorting to the same FEEBLE response that Abbott, Dutton and NOW Turnbull, so frequently hide behind. Well, I could confidently speak for most thinking Aussies when I say NOT GOOD ENOUGH, Australia is a DEMOCRACY and the people have a RIGHT to know general details about refugee boats and other matters the government wishes to hide from public scrutiny, after all, we have been receiving refugee boats since the illegal Vietnam War, and there certainly was no need to HIDE behind such feeble excuses over the decades since.

People are aware that transparency is essential to all democracies and that secrecy is essential to all totalitarian and fascist police state regimes.

It's not looking good for, Mr 'things have changed, be optimistic, it's a great time to be alive,' TurnBULL -- who relies on mass media spin and his pathetic attempts at mass mesmerism to dupe the people of informed and aware Australia.

Need I state, that if Turnbull wishes or is forced to follow Abbott's lead, he can follow him out the door to political oblivion, however, Aussies wouldn't be so cruel as to deprive Turnbull of his mirror on the way out -- 'things have changed,' MY ARSE!
