Syria and the Criminality of Regime Change
by jack Saturday, Sep 12 2015, 12:50am
international / prose / post

From the outset let’s establish a legal fact, and that is that no nation has the legal right to militarily intervene in the political affairs of another nation without a request from its government -- international LAW is very clear on the matter.

Now consider the illegal, civilian killing, indiscriminate carpet bombings of Laos and Cambodia by the USA during the failed Indo-Chinese war, which DESTABILISATION resulted in the ascension of totalitarian dictator Pol Pot to power in Cambodia, and for those that remain unaware, Pol Pot a psychopath of the first order, was responsible for the deaths of MILLIONS of innocent Cambodians.

However, the USA failed to intervene when it was morally OBLIGED, as it is well established that Pol Pot would not have been able to take power if the ILLEGAL US carpet bombing hadn’t severely destabilised the nation and its government. Perhaps America wished to avoid the bright light of RESPONSIBILITY in the rise of Pol Pot or maybe it was too busy licking its wounds after another lost war of illegal intervention. It should also be made plain that the Vietnam war was based on a false flag operation in the Gulf of Tonkin and so we have illegality piled on illegality and of course the result, millions of innocents died, déjà vu the past fifteen years of illegal interventions on steroids! It should also be noted that US criminals responsible for the Indo-Chinese holocaust, particularly Henry Kissinger, have never been held to account for their proven crimes.

A case could easily have been made to the international community via the UN to facilitate the removal and perhaps the trial of Pol Pot; however, as history records America was mute and indifferent to the plight of the Cambodian people. Why? The simple and obvious answer is Cambodia has little in the way of precious resources and has no strategic value. So legal intervention and ‘regime change’ was never considered and the death of millions of innocents was ignored which tragedy forever stains the reputation of responsible nations that supported America in its illegal war in Indo-China.

America, by dictionary definition, has become the world’s leading civilian killing, therefore TERRORIST nation, FACT, and continues to commit war and other crimes against humanity today. The death toll of innocents in Iraq alone exceeds one million, notwithstanding the five million that have been displaced by America’s manic desire to overtly thieve the precious resources of weaker nations.

Now consider the flimsy pretexts and OVERT LIES the US employs today to intervene and destabilise NUMEROUS nations in North Africa and the Middle East.

It is clear that the failure of the international community to prosecute American war criminals in the recent past has led to the current crisis the WORLD now faces, and again international law is breached by America and its vassal allies almost daily, the latest example is the illegal bombing of Syria without a request from its besieged government.

The US has reduced Iraq, Afghanistan and Libya to cot cases and hopes to do the same to Syria, and to add calamity on calamity it is now employing extremist proxy fighters on the ground to do its dirty work while it bombs from the air which action further destabilises the entire region and now the world with a predictable refugee crisis. However, which nations, including spineless (proven) Russia and China, have taken legal action in the proper international criminal jurisdictions/courts – NONE! I find this absurdity most intriguing, holding KNOWN criminals to account is not only a moral imperative but is obligatory by anyone that considers themselves to be part of civilised humanity, but perhaps that failure is the REAL problem.

Whatever the case may be, the lack of moral and legal action by nations and the masses spells more international and local crime by State players, which inevitably would result in RUIN for all humanity. If you are unable to see the escalation and broader picture and fail to apprehend the consequences of the actions of today’s western criminal governments then you deserve what you get and that includes the millions of refugees which should have taken a stand against the evil forces, harsh as that may sound; the abused and oppressed outnumber by at least a million to one their oppressors, a simple fact. Indeed, the failure of humanity today is due to a lack of unity among the oppressed and persecuted and while that deplorable and orchestrated condition persists, tiny evil minorities will continue to enslave and oppress majorities all over the world. Surely it is better to fight and prevail as ONE than to die like divided, whipped dogs?
