Drowned Boy But How Much More Tragic …

The mass media was recently forced to address the US/NATO created refugee problem in Europe, but please mass media, don’t breathe a word about the CAUSE. Millions of INNOCENT people have been displaced in war torn countries as a direct consequence of the US spreading chaos, destabilisation and mass murder under the banner of ‘liberty, freedom and democracy. The more stable Middle Eastern nations, which have already absorbed MILLIONS of refugees from Iraq, Afghanistan, Syria and North Africa – regions where the US/NATO has violently intervened – are now unable to cope with the continuing influx.

Nevertheless the rivers of US created human tragedy continue to flow and insular Europe (NATO nations) are beginning to reap what they’ve sown, as hundreds of thousands of displaced migrants attempt to flee the horror of American ‘liberty, freedom and democracy!’

Few westerners realise or are willing to accept the responsibility of dealing with the consequences of their clearly criminal actions. Australia, which has blindly supported the US in most of its criminal wars, would rather pay tens of billions in tax-payer dollars to undeveloped nations to accept refugee boat people headed for Australia than to accept them onshore; has Australia accepted its fair share of the responsibility for fleeing refugees it helped create? Not likely, xenophobic and parochial Australians are afraid of foreigners, it was only yesterday the third most racist nation on earth, eliminated the legal “White Australia Policy,” shame, shame, on my nation Australia, and all its successive governments for continuing these xenophobic policies under the guise of “stopping the boats.” Indeed, the current PM, Jesuit trained, Tony Abbott, had the gall to invoke Jesus when stating in a media release that certain people have no place in Australia, yet the population tolerates this xenophobic, racist, bigot in power, notwithstanding Abbott is universally detested for stabbing the population in the back immediately after he conned the public into installing him in office.

The US, UK and Australia – the original coalition of willing criminal nations -- have refused to take these refugees, these nations are presently engaged in the politics of distraction and are blaming 'terrorists' for the problem, when clearly the terrorists they blame are supported by western powers via Middle Eastern allies and Israel. However, Germany has begun to accept responsibility and is leading Europe in accepting the displaced thousands.

However, it took the tragic image of a drowned little boy lying face down at the water’s edge to wake the public to the horror and destruction the USA and NATO nations have inflicted on once stable nations and now the world. The EU, already unravelling, cannot deal with the influx and so it seems the reality of consequences will sort the situation for itself, as Europe’s clearly inept and/or corrupt governments are unable to deal with matters that require competent and humane leadership.

But the above is not to what the title alludes, it took one image in the social media to arouse a response from the world. Now think, images of children murdered by US drones and military interventions or sanctions – I refer to 500,000 needlessly killed Iraqi children, as ONE example -- do not seem to affect western populations, which have been sufficiently anaesthetised to accept their CLEARLY incompetent, lying and disingenuous governments supporting criminal wars of destabilisation and widespread destruction. Perhaps if people became aware of the REAL ONGOING (for 15 years) horror perpetrated by infamous western governments, images of dead children drowned or blown to bits by drones, missiles and artillery, would not surface to haunt and taunt the conscience of humanity.

It is not enough to be emotionally moved by ONE image, we must ALL ACCEPT responsibility and ACT to remedy wrongs that our criminal governments continue to pursue at the behest of the USA, otherwise the misery that seems so far removed will affect our lives directly, of that probability be assured.

Reality also dictates that the current mass movement of people seeking LIFE, is only the beginning, as climate change would transform today’s fleeing thousands into millions pouring over every land and sea border in the WORLD – and what are we going to do then?

That eventuality will be the price we ALL pay for installing criminal, lying, INCOMPETENT governments into office – now look up the word democracy in a dictionary before you are confronted by another disturbing image.
