NSW Police Lying through teeth to avoid Murder charge
by jude Wednesday, Oct 10 2012, 9:09am
international / prose / post

We've seen it all before, pathological personalities attracted to policing in order to vent their mental illness while hiding behind a uniform. While society in general tolerates these aberrants, when they wantonly kill and then LIE clumsily in order to avoid responsibility, the problem must be addressed and remedied.

It is becoming more evident that new police training methods that favour simplistic violent responses and aggressive behaviour from police are INAPPROPRIATE. These new MINDLESS, robotic responses are proving inadequate as (police) victim death rates escalate dramatically.

Today police hide behind procedural protocols and (inappropriate) learned responses to justify their extreme actions in low-key threat situations .

A double amputee was recently shot to death by trigger-happy police in the USA for not complying with police instructions; the offending officer said in his defence that the victim did not comply with instructions (from God) and continued to advance on police in his WHEELCHAIR, the fact this double amputee was missing an arm and a leg didn't seem to register on the sadistic, gun-happy psychopathic police who began firing at the hapless victim for waving a pen in a menacing manner.

The clearly agitated man was killed for no good reason; somehow the police failed to notice or disregarded the victims two missing limbs yet claimed they were 'threatened' to such an extent by the pen the man was waving they opened fire and killed the physically handicapped man when a common sense approach would have been more effective -- surely, an unarmed double amputee struggling in a wheelchair, waving a pen would not constitute a real threat to police.

Not to be outdone by their moronic American counterparts for inappropriate violent responses, Oz pigs repeatedly Tasered a man to death for stealing a packet of biscuits from a convenience store and fleeing the scene. The agitated distraught victim was also accused of not complying with police instructions to 'roll-over, beg, play dead and bark' on demand -- fair go!

The difference between the two cases is that 'megalo' Oz pigs tried to LIE their way out of a possible murder charge; notwithstanding they were aware that weapons mounted cameras recorded the entire incident. How these morons pass (intellectual) competency tests/psychological screening is beyond me!

Report from The Australian follows:

Officer 'didn't remember' student's death accurately
by Jared Owens

ONE of the officers who repeatedly tasered Roberto Laudisio Curti has admitted his recollection of the student's death contradicts footage captured by his Taser-mounted camera, agreeing the inconsistencies were products of his "imagination".

Footage screened at a Sydney inquest into Curti's death has revealed the 21-year-old was already handcuffed on the ground when Senior Constable Eric Lim discharged a second five-second "blast" of electricity, and that the young man was not "struggling violently" or threatening to overpower the five officers pinning him down.

Constable Lim also said he did not remember his fellow officers "drive-stunning" Curti with a Taser - a practice captured on camera at least five times - or the man's cries of agony, described by a distant witness as "yelling like a wild animal".

NSW Coroner Mary Jerram is examining Curti's death on Sydney's Pitt Street at 6.11am on March 18, after he was tasered up to 14 times, sprayed with up to 2 1/2 cans of capsicum spray, and was allegedly kicked by police.

Curti, who was psychotic after taking LSD, attempted to flee police after he stole two packets of biscuits from a convenience store, claiming he was a "messenger from God".

Rather than use conventional police tactics, Constable Lim brought Curti to the ground by shooting him with his Taser. He was dead nine minutes later.

He also denied manipulating his story to justify his actions, maintaining his evidence to investigators was an accurate representation of his flawed memory.

Constable Lim told investigators he discharged his Taser a second time because Curti was close to "bucking off" police who were trying to hold him down.

However, the Taser video shows him rolling on to his side, possibly because of breathing difficulty due to a policeman's knee on his abdomen.

Curti's family barrister Peter Hamill SC suggested elements of Constable Lim's memory, such as Curti's "bucking" movements, could have been "a figment of your imagination".

Constable Lim replied: "After viewing the footage, that's correct."

Probationary Constable Ernest Kim's testimony was also peppered with unusual memory lapses that contrasted with graphic details of drive-stunning from his March police interview.

The inquest will resume this morning.
