"Joe Hockey has slammed those doubting the strength of the Australian economy as “clowns” after soaring resource exports and the housing boom delivered the best GDP growth in a year.

The Treasurer hailed the 0.9 per cent growth in the March quarter, saying it showed that “the Australian economy is, in the last quarter, one of the fastest-growing economies in the developed world.”

Indeed Joe, but you fail to apprehend that your job is to serve Australians not multi-national corporations and FOREIGN buyers that have pushed Aussies out of the housing market.

So if you wish to gloat and tout then restrict foreign ownership and restore a fair playing field for locals; as for multi-national tax avoiding miners, isn't it about time you legislated to recover lost revenue funds due to corporates rorting the system?

The only bullshitting "clowns" around are you, your lying boss and your inept corporate serving conservative party. Now get a grip on the reality on the ground; I suggest you speak to the "poor people" your corporate elite serving policies constantly target to make up THEIR shortfalls.

UPDATE - 4 June:
Today's news reveals that Australia has suffered its "WORST" trade deficit "ON RECORD." That 'figure' speak for itself, Joe, more money is leaving Oz than entering, and that reality is also affecting the ASX. However, living with Alice, Joe and Tony refuse to accept the latest reality which clearly highlights the gross incompetence of the current conservative 'CLOWN' government.

It should also be noted that PM Tony Abbott is currently more concerned with political distraction by remaining obsessively focused on the fabricated terrorist bogeyman, which is the least threat to the nation. Hopefully the people will now realise that their inaction in not prosecuting Abbott for stealing office by FRAUD and deceit, has just caught up on the nation. How any population could tolerate or trust a duplicitous, pathological liar and someone clearly divorced from reality is beyond reason. So lets have another glass of wine/beer Australia and fall for the terrorist distraction and leave Abbott in power to wreak more havoc/damage on the people and nation!
