Gutfull of Lying Prick Abbott

Pretender to office, PM Tony Abbott, has resorted to self-apologetics in a vain attempt to shore up his leaking leadership boat. He not surprisingly referred to the two primary contenders for the leadership job, Julie Bishop and Malcolm Turnbull and had the gall to take credit for their performance and skills.

Now that is really sliming around the bottom of the septic tank Mr Abbott, how is a known LYING clown and DUNCE able to take credit for the work and achievements of any talented person -- it’s simply not possible? BUT Abbott’s feeble attempt to take credit, as “the captain,” does reveal the slimy, underhanded, duplicitous, thieving scoundrel, that ALL AUSTRALIA knows Tony Abbott to be -- a person who displayed utter contempt for the people by LYING his way into the highest office in the land and then refusing to admit that he is the reason that State and Federal Libs are sinking faster than the Titanic.

On the eve of the Queensland State election everyone in the nation is aware that a vote for Newman is really a vote for Abbott as both conservative leaders share the same dishonest and duplicitous approach to politics.

SMH story follows:

Julie Bishop and Malcolm Turnbull perform well because of their 'captain', says Tony Abbott
by Latika Bourke

Prime Minister Tony Abbott says he will "absolutely" lead the government to the next election and has described the strong performances of potential leadership rivals Julie Bishop and Malcolm Turnbull as the result of their "good captain".

Visiting Colac in Victoria on Friday, Mr Abbott was peppered with questions about his leadership, the future of his chief of staff Peta Credlin - and whether he would stand aside for Ms Bishop or Mr Turnbull.

Mr Abbott responded by praising his "strong colleagues" and "strong team" but said they benefited from his leadership.

"One of the reasons why so many members of the team are able to perform so well is because they have got a very good captain," he told reporters.

"It takes a good captain to help all the players of a team to excel," he said.

Government MPs have constantly complained about the quality of Mr Abbott's "captain's calls", which include his unpopular $5 billion paid parental leave scheme, the aborted attempt to cut the Medicare rebate by $20 for short doctor visits, and honouring Prince Philip with an Australian knighthood.

Mr Abbott dug in and defied media baron Rupert Murdoch's public demand that he sack Ms Credlin or force her to resign.

"I have a very good team and I stand by all of them," he said.

Asked "will you lead the government to the next election?", Mr Abbott said "absolutely".

Mr Abbott refused to confirm or deny a report in The Australian Financial Review that he let go his former press secretary Jane McMillan and hired former ABC correspondent Mark Simkin late last year after being told by Mr Murdoch to reshuffle his media team.

"I have a very good team at every level. I have a very good team and I stand by my team. I stand by my cabinet, stand by my parliamentary colleagues and I stand by my staff," he said.

The leadership rumblings have been sparked by the furious backlash to Prince Philip's knighthood, with one of frontbenchers urging him to trade his city office for a country pub to get an "honest appraisal" of the decision.

On the day he announced the Duke of Edinburgh's honour, Mr Abbott dismissed the immediate hostile reaction on social media as "electronic graffiti". But on Friday he conceded the negative response was widespread.

"I'm sure if I went into the pub to talk about it, they would say it was a stuff-up. I would take that on the chin and then we would move on," he said.

The keen cyclist assured voters he was still in touch with their everyday concerns, saying that "most weekends" he was in local cafes, stopping off for a mocha, "admittedly dressed in lycra".

He said he planned to ride in Geelong on Saturday and would be mixing with "hundreds of thousands of Australians".

Abbott dares not ask what the Oz public, Turnbull or Bishop think of his imbecilic performance as a Statesman, as it is clear to all that he hasn’t got a clue, Abbott is clearly ‘living in his own private pathological Idaho’ and the sooner his peers face the inevitable the better for everyone.
