"Check Him Out" - ASIO tipped off 48 Hours Before Martin Place Siege

Tony Abbott will attempt to use the staged Martin Place siege to establish an oppressive, American style police State, a completely inappropriate response in Australia. It has been revealed that an anonymous caller urged ASIO to investigate Monis 48 hours prior to the attack, the caller urged authorities to read the latest posting on Monis' website, which authorities should have been monitoring in any case, but as has now become apparent ASIO agents were too busy attempting to locate their dicks to take a piss.

I have personal experience of ASIO's total incompetence in unrelated IT counterfeiting matters and can testify to their gross incompetence. Australia should also remember that it was another regulatory body, the AFP, that received information on the "Bali nine" from the father of one of the drug couriers. The courier's father hoped that his son would be protected in Australia; however, as it was more politically expedient to surrender the Bali nine to the Indonesian authorities as a show of co-operation on other matters, the AFP sacrificed the lives of nine Aussies and stabbed the hapless parent in the back, another fine example of our treacherous, callous, incompetent and corrupt authorities.

Every effort should be made by Aussies to remove via the law courts, criminal fraud Tony Abbott from office, a position he CLEARLY stole using a raft of calculated lies and deceit -- it should also be remembered that Abbott was assisted in his treacherous campaign of LIES and DECEIT by Rupert Murdoch's media.

Abbott also instructed Oz agencies to close the case on the "Balibo five" in view of the NSW corner's report clearly stating via its investigation, the identities of the criminal perpetrators of that vicious, unforgivable crime on five innocent AUSTRALIAN citizens -- the reason is that Abbott had been transgressing Indonesia's sovereignty and needed to bail himself out at any price, what a thorough scumbag!

The conservatives would attempt to implement globalist police State policies in Oz to their own very great risk -- you have been informed, and there's plenty more compromising and disgusting information about our incompetent and corrupt agencies and politicians if circumstances require more revelations in the public interest! I would add that Howard and Washington would not be pleased.


Monis ASIO story follows:

National security hotline tipped off to check gunman Man Haron Monis’ website 48 hours before Sydney siege

AN anonymous caller rang Australia’s National Security hotline on the weekend before the Lindt cafe siege to tip off authorities about Man Haron Monis’s extremism, urging them to “look at this man’s website’’.

The Sunday Telegraph can reveal that Australia’s Security Intelligence Organisation and the Abbott government is aware of a call within the 48 hours leading up to the siege.

The caller did not suggest that Monis had a gun or that he was planning a terrorist act or that he had talked of any plans to take hostages. It simply urged authorities to “take a look at this man’s website”.

The call to the national security hotline and the contents of Monis’ social media accounts will now form part of the review ordered by the Prime Minister and NSW Premier Mike Baird to establish lessons learnt from the Martin Place siege.

The Prime Minister is now understood to have an open mind about ordering a judicial inquiry into the siege — with the power to compel witnesses to appear — if that is recommended by the current review.

The review will conclude at the end of January. Mr Abbott’s decision to leave the door open to a judicial review follows criticism that the current review is too narrow.

ASIO is understood to have looked at Monis’ website as result of the phone call. The hotline receives thousands of calls every year and a substantial proportion are hoax calls.

What they found was that Monis, who had 14,000 “likes’’ on Facebook from supporters, had a number of websites, a Facebook account and a Twitter account in support of Islam and jihadism. But there was no mention of a planned terrorist attack.

In hindsight, the contents are chilling. His Twitter account includes both praise of Islamic State and suggestions that Islam does not condone terrorism. In a five-minute video titled Sheikh Haron’s Letters For Peace, there are images of Today Tonight journalist David Richardson strolling in Martin Place, near the site of the siege, during a story about Monis.

During the video, there is footage of Monis holding up a pen, and saying: “This is my gun. And these words are my bullets. I fight with these weapons against oppression. To promote peace.’’

The video is edited so that the word “angry’’ is repeated multiple times by the reporter over the top of footage of a man in a movie ripping up letters.

Monis also warns in separate videos that after the High Court ruled he should not have posted his abusive letters to the families of dead soldiers that he will now change his methods.

“From now on, I should do it by hand delivery. Not by using the postal service,’’ he says.

The NSW federal government inquiry currently under way will examine the arrival of Monis in Australia and subsequent granting of asylum, permanent residency, citizenship, and welfare payments to him.

The review will examine information held by government agencies about him and the interaction of Monis with the NSW justice system, his access to firearms and whether a control orders could or should have been used in relation to him.

Investigations are also underway into the incident including by the State Coroner, the police and the Australian Federal Police.

His Twitter account also boasts that he has written letters to Queen Elizabeth, US President Barack Obama, former Prime Minister John Howard and former British Prime Minister Gordon Brown.

On Monday morning, he had posted a photo of dead children below the words: “This is an evidence for the terrorism of America and its allies including Australia. The result of their air strikes.”

His posts also included attacks on Mr Abbott and Muslim community leader Dr Jamal Rifi. In his posts, he claims that Australia was “racist and terrorist”.
