Tony Blair's Award from 'Save the Children'

The editorial team wishes to apologise to our readers for not covering the award given to Tony Blair, by 'Save the Children.' We have received no posts on this outrageous event. However, the reaction of our editorial team is beyond shock and reason, not only does it stagger the moral fibre of being in the overwhelming majority of sane people on this planet but it also staggers the imagination to the point of muteness -- we understand.

Tony Blair was a fervent member of the coalition of willing criminals, which included only two other leaders, servile pipsqueak, John Howard of Australia and George W Bush of the USA -- a very poor membership indeed.

Prior to the illegal invasion of Iraq, which Blair zealously promoted, Blair supported president Bill Clinton during his economic and trade embargo campaign against Iraq, which resulted in the deaths of over half a million innocent children through the lack of medical supplies! And that notwithstanding the invasion of Iraq itself, which Blair promoted with LIES and flagrant propaganda, the "45 minute attack" capability on the UK, which Blair ridiculously ascribed to Saddam Hussein was utter rot and gross misrepresentation -- history bears FULL WITNESS!

Iraq after the invasion -- in which Blair eagerly participated -- became the scene of the first human holocaust of the twenty first century; over one million innocent CIVILIANS were killed and millions more displaced as western forces marauded through the country in their grab for the nation's oil resources.

By any definition the huge number of civilian casualties, including hundreds of thousands of women and children, constitutes a war crime.

It is horror enough that the international community allows Blair, Bush and Howard to go uncharged but as a measure of international corruption, to engineer an award from 'Save the Children' is completely beyond the pale.

We understand the shock and mute outrage this event has triggered and extra shame on you, 'Save the Children,' what manner of integrity does the granting of this award to Tony Blair advertise to the world?
