Why were the front pages of the media at the time devoid of this historically accurate incriminating material? Why were the world’s most heinous crimes perpetrated by the USA hidden from the masses? Simply because the corporate mass media is an extension of the corporate controlled U.S. government and the privately monopolised mass media only publish material that serves their criminal interests.

Let’s take another more recent historical period, TODAY! Again, why has the mass media chosen not to dwell on the HUGE cost in innocent civilian lives of the US military’s invasive campaigns around the world, particularly in North Africa, Central Asia and the Middle East; the civilian death toll in ILLEGALLY INVADED IRAQ alone is enough to indict any nation ten times over, BUT AGAIN the accusative finger of the corporate mass media points anywhere but at the perpetrators of the crimes, in fact, it usually points the accusative finger at the victims of U.S. crimes. Nevertheless, what becomes clear in analytical and investigative terms is behavioural consistency or obvious habitual patterns, which always lead to the Truth of any matter.

Would anyone be surprised if I now postulated that the PRIMARY function of the mass media today is to DISTRACT the population away from the major issues and the CONSTANT heinous crimes being committed by the USA and the CRIMINAL powers that control it? For instance, which event is saturating the western mass media at this moment, of course, the downing by unknown forces, of Malaysian airliner MH-17, BUT why saturation? America slaughtered over 1.5 million innocent civilians in Iraq and that historical REALITY has yet to make the 'news' in over a decade? MH-17 certainly deserves coverage but when any event is utilised to SATURATE the media you can be sure that the mass media is pursuing an agenda and engaging in DISTRACTION -- but from what?

While speculative accusations against Russia/Putin are rife at the moment, led interestingly by known Washington lackey, Tony Abbott, PM of puppet State, Australia, ISRAEL is conducting another campaign of vicious war crimes against Palestinians in GAZA, a strip of land that happens to have legal rights over large oil and gas reserves off its coast. Criminal Israel ALSO has a horrendous child/civilian killing record. In Gaza, the ‘give war a chance’ team of John Bolton and Condi Rice -- who have not been held to account for THEIR obvious crimes -- oversaw the IDF target schools, safe havens and other civilian refuges during a previous campaign of murder and civilian killing in Gaza -- of course, it hardly needs mentioning that the USA and Israel are the closest criminal allies.

And so, I give you one instance of how the Front Pages are utilised to distract from the most serious crimes -- the deaths/murders of not a few hundred but of hundreds of thousands and millions of INNOCENT people.

The privately owned corporate mass media only FOCUSES on material that serves its own interests -- nothing unusual in that except, PROTECTING KNOWN CRIMINALS is a CRIME!

So, sheeple, the next time you are being led down the garden path with saturation media campaigns it should act as a trigger to alert you to consider what is being HIDDEN from view.

The mass media tricks covered in this piece also -- I am sorry to say -- distract the alternative media that should know better! Perhaps if the alternative media relentlessly concentrated on the many heinous crimes the USA and Israel are historically responsible for we may just alert enough people to make a difference. However, if the alternative media also takes the bait, the contemptuous laughter that emanates from the sinister halls of power will continue.
