Who is responsible for the appalling film production that has enraged the global Muslim community? In a sense the answer is of secondary relevance; simply because the film primarily demonstrates that effective media PSYOP campaigns are in everyones' reach today.
Who would have thought that a relatively insignificant Coptic Christian could disrupt the entire planet with a tawdry video and create monumental headaches for Imperial superpowers?
It is not by accident that rage was vented on US targets, irrespective of who made the film; the Muslim backlash was justified for numerous reasons. The US and its allies indiscriminately murder INNOCENT Muslims almost daily in air strikes and Drone attacks. Indeed, there is no love lost; when in doubt, attack the world's leading civilian killing, terrorist nation (AMERICA) and you're sure to get it right!
I hope Washington has learnt that it doesn't have a monopoly on psychological warfare. Had that film been released with a long-term strategy and political plan the US wouldn't have known what hit it -- are you reading this, PEOPLE/China?
