Abbott’s undisguised assault on Oz culture -- make no mistake about it -- focuses on the core values, the Oz ‘fair go,’ Oz camaraderie "mateship” and assisting those in need, especially in times of crisis. These are CORE values which define the AUSTRALIAN nation as distinct from other cultures and nations -- fundamental values that enabled early settlers to establish themselves in a harsh strange land. Australian culture is perhaps the closest culture to live what it is to be our “brother’s keeper”. It is what pulled us through two world wars and numerous difficult conflicts since, it is what enables Aussies to punch well above their weight in many fields of endeavour. This traditional cooperative approach is intrinsic to the Oz cultural consciousness, it automatically excludes destructive and poisonous social behaviours like the American competitive ‘me only,’ ‘dog eat dog’ approach, and as we all know, Australia is all the BETTER for it -- contrast it with America or my other developed nation today to verify the point!

Australians remain the smallest population per square mile of landmass anywhere in the developed world; Aussies learned to cooperate and share the burden very early, survival depended on it, it is why we continue to be distinct and fair as a culture, our unique character was formed by cooperative values; however, the totally un-Australian values that Tony Abbott and his treasonous ministers display today are CLEARLY diametrically opposed to core Oz values and that is why ALL AUSTRALIANS must remove all elitist serving un-democratic political filth from OUR seats of government.

The situation as it stands under INTRANSIGENT and ARROGANT Abbott leaves few choices, indeed, no choice but to completely remove him from office, one way or the other! The Australian people need only exercise their legal democratic prerogatives/rights and insist on an election by plebiscite or by other popular demand; Abbott has reneged on all his promises and has become the most un-representative politician in the land; Abbott has also indicated that the population lump his policies as he has no intention of compromising. Democracy and Oz core values demand that our political representatives represent the MAJORITY, NOT a tax-avoiding elite group that comprise less than 1% of society.

It we fail to pull together on this extremely necessary action or fail to act in the nation’s best interest, we risk losing everything that makes us unique and blessed above all nations in the world today. This nation is extremely wealthy, there is no debt crisis that cannot be immediately rectified by applying the principles and core values that define us as a nation and culture, and that is that EVERYONE pays their due according to how much they benefit from the nation. The highest tax rate is shouldered by the people, up to 49% of income, while multi-nationals and other corporate interests pay less than 6% tax -- now I ask you, should the wealthiest pay the least tax, as occurs in America, or should they (EVERYONE) pay their due and shoulder their responsibility PROPORTIONATELY like the least of us?

Instead of enforcing a fair and appropriate tax rate on mega-wealthy banks, mining companies and other transnational tax-avoiding corporations that are raping our FINITE wealth at speed, Abbott has reduced the level of corporate tax which has forced him to attempt to derive revenue from those that can least afford it, the most vulnerable in our society; students, young job seekers, old pensioners and the disabled. This vile, COWARDLY, un-Australian political act of Abbott and his conservative party has for the first time since the 60‘s, forced the public onto the streets to vehemently oppose the unnecessary, unfair policies handed to errand boy Abbott by his plutocrat masters.

Abbott’s actions and those of his crony ministers in no way reflect Oz values or any other reasonable, FAIR approach -- Abbott and his ministers by their own actions clearly indicate that they are enemies of the Australian people and Australian culture.

Abbott openly displays a brazen and arrogant contempt for battling Aussies and the Oz ‘fair go,' yet he was happy to receive an unusual 'gift' for his daughter Frances. While other students struggle and face ever increasing fees, Ms Frances Abbott received a “chairman’s scholarship” to complete her degree. Of course she was granted the $60K scholarship by the chairman of the board of governors, who just happens to be an elitist and avid Abbott supporter! We should also note that treasurer Joe Hockey threw a $50K dinner while he expects pensioners to survive on pet food and porridge!

We all know what must be done; remove unrepresentative liars and cheats from office and implement a fair and proportionate tax on the largest earners in the nation.
