Google, your data suppression methods are obvious, easily recorded, abysmally inept and generally pathetic.

The simple fact that you actively engage in suppressing this and other alternative news sites means we have won and TRUTH will prevail in the end.

NSA Spoiler - Anonymous Digital Phone Device Goes Begging
by digby Friday, May 16 2014, 1:31pm
international / prose / post

We've all heard the hysterics about NSA global surveillance, yet no nation has undertaken legal proceedings against the NSA for breaching a myriad communications laws, though the US 'justice' system hands down 10 year jail sentences (Hammond) to individual hackers for intrusions that serve the public interest -- what is wrong with that picture?

In an effort to remedy the situation we offer this short paper about inexpensive solutions that restore an individual's ability to communicate privately over the internet or via a telco network.

PRIVACY is at a premium today thanks to the NSA, its agents (Snowden) and duped journalists (Greenwald) that have ONLY served to frighten and dis-empower the masses with REPETITIVE stories about pan surveillance and lost privacy. Readers would note that these stories get more dramatic regarding intrusions and penetration technologies but lack any information about mitigating these intrusions or offering creative solutions to directly combat inquisitive agencies.

So, from a rational and hopefully helpful perspective a solution that takes twitter as its model, prepaid mobile phones as its medium and of course the internet or any telco as the channel of communication, may provide an inexpensive and readily available solution to restore the ability of people to communicate by text privately.

Cut down variations of existing prepaid mobile phones that remove all forms of GPS or other tracking/recording features, cameras, sound recorders etc are easily made to order from existing production and would be available from Chinese manufacturers at incredibly low prices.

A tailored from Open source Operating Systems that includes features to anonymise all text/chat communication and protect the real ID of users (Tails) should not present too difficult a problem for developers.

Combine all these existing technologies and you have a device which would cost less than $30 and enable you to maintain anonymity and conduct private twitter style text messaging between parties on the same network.

There are millions of people world wide that would welcome a device that offers simple, private and completely anonymous text messaging.

Perhaps a Kickstarter project or other entrepreneurial means to get this very necessary simple and inexpensive mobile phone device to the people would be appropriate. It would demonstrate how easily an effective and accessible digital device could foil the zillion dollar illegal surveillance industry, and would hopefully serve to inspire others to devise similar cheap and effective means to mitigate other criminal State activities.

The next time you are exposed to an intimidating news propaganda campaign about some other State oppressive measure do not think like a defeated whipped dog or slave, think creatively like a winner, and remember that real Freedom is earned never bestowed!
