From an Open Internet, Back to the Dark Ages of Privileged Elite Rule
Jonathan Cook via james, Saturday, Nov 25 2017, 10:42pm
Could anyone still doubt that access to a relatively free and open internet is rapidly coming to an end in the west? In China and other autocratic regimes, leaders have simply bent the internet to their will, censoring content that threatens their rule. But in the “democratic” west, it is being done differently. The state does not have to interfere directly – it outsources its dirty work to corporations.

Law Flouting Rogue State Intends to Remain in Syria After Terrorists Routed
South Front via jane, Saturday, Nov 25 2017, 7:35pm
Indeed, the rogue, criminal USA couldn't give a damn about international law, the US-Saudi-Israeli sponsored proxy war in Syria is virtually over and peace negotiations have been planned. However, the USA will have none of it and intends to pursue its 'Assad must go,' policy and ILLEGAL occupation, but this time utilising the bought Kurds as pawns instead of the failed ISIS, Nusra and Al-Qaeda terrorists.
The overtly criminal USA is DIRECTLY responsible for the murder of millions of innocent civilians and children in the Middle East and the displacement of tens of millions more, yet the OBVIOUSLY partial, politicised Hague courts have yet to haul one American into the dock for war and other crimes against humanity, ABSURD! Plutocrats Are Pursuing Internet Censorship And They’re Barely Hiding It
Caitlin Johnstone via james, Friday, Nov 24 2017, 9:48pm
A few days ago Facebook blocked my account for posting an article about false flag operations around the world, then two days later unblocked me with an apology after I made a big stink about it, saying it was an accident. Things went back to normal, then yesterday something changed and now the only people seeing my posts on that account are Facebook friends I was interacting with back in 2012 and haven’t spoken with in years. A number of users have told me that their post visibility has been really weird there the last few days. (story and 1 image)

Trump, "we're really winning," Rest of the World, Really!
Akela Lacy via jess, Friday, Nov 24 2017, 5:01am
As the United States unravels before the eyes of the international community, buffoon president Trump sends a Thanksgiving message from his cozy Florida residence, Mar-a-Lago, to the troops, "we're really winning," notwithstanding the longest failed war in American history, Afghanistan, and the numerous failed States as a direct result of ill-considered, badly planned, US criminal military interventions -- 'winning,' sure you are, demented Donald!
Clearly America is losing on many fronts, especially at home, socially, as clearly indicated by the fact that a psychologically flawed moron and coward is president of the nation, enough said. Wake up America! You are obviously losing EVERYTHING you have built over the past two centuries. The state of the nation speaks for itself. (story and 1 image)

Reality Beckons
Jon Rappoport via shirl, Wednesday, Nov 22 2017, 5:11pm
What we call Reality is a hall of mirrors. It reflects itself back and forth and builds up a consensus.
People do the same thing. They confirm with one another that the reality they believe is real is, in fact, real.
And having established that, they live out their lives and make the best of it.

America’s Renegade Warfare
Nicolas J S Davies via jess, Wednesday, Nov 22 2017, 1:18am
Seventy-seven million people in North and South Korea find themselves directly in the line of fire from the threat of a Second Korean War. The rest of the world is recoiling in horror from the scale of civilian casualties such a war would cause and the unthinkable prospect that either side might actually use nuclear weapons.

Fake News and NATO’s Plans for “Persuasion and Impacting the Media.”
Felicity Arbuthnot via stacey, Tuesday, Nov 21 2017, 8:37pm
“Having survived Afghanistan, NATO continued to play a significant role in the destruction of Gaddafi’s Libya, and in the destruction of parts of Syria through covertly organising, financing, and arming ISIS forces for the purpose of overthrowing the Assad government. And it continues to serve as a cover for the war making elements in Britain and France. America’s coup in the Ukraine in 2014, which resulted in a crisis in relations with Russia, gave NATO a new lease on life as it helped create entirely uncalled for hysterical fear of Russia in Poland and the Baltic states.” -- Karel van Wolferen, “NATO, a Monstrous Institution”

URGENT: Free Speech and a Free Internet are Under Attack
Jake Johnson via darcy, Tuesday, Nov 21 2017, 7:46pm
"The FCC under Pai is handing over the internet to a few humongous gatekeepers who see the rest of us as products to be delivered to advertisers, not as citizens needing communications that serve democracy's needs."

BREAKING: Vladimir Putin Rumoured to Quit
jaxie, Sunday, Nov 19 2017, 10:40pm
Well, as sure as shit floats so the truth is exposed. According to the UK Independent and Mirror, Putin is 'considering' quitting as Russian leader in order to spend his ill-gotten, graft and corruption money which amounts to hundreds of $billions, which amount would make Putin one of the richest men on the planet -- an impossible outcome for an honest politician in any country let alone impoverished Russia. US Military Presence in Syria Has No Legal Grounds Whatsoever
Peter Korzun via cyd, Sunday, Nov 19 2017, 10:14am
America, the worlds leading civilian killing and law flouting nation (FACT) is in trouble, as the usual excuses and pretexts it uses for its many illegal military interventions are today as transparent as wet toilet paper. The Syrian government has made it clear that America's presence and its proxy fighters, including ISIL and Al-Qaeda, are invasive, aggressive forces and would be treated as belligerent enemy forces as outlined by the UN and international law. This puts corrupt Putin on the spot as he could have at any time demanded that the US withdraw from Syria immediately, yet he has chosen to play footsie with the USA. (story and 1 image)

No One Man Should Be Able to Trigger Nuclear War
Eric Margolis via jan, Sunday, Nov 19 2017, 3:17am
Nuclear war is absolutely unthinkable. Totally crazy. Yet serious discussion is underway in military and neocon war circles about a nuclear war against North Korea and, even crazier, against Iran and Russia. Welcome home, Dr Strangelove. [And we all should be aware how that movie ended.] (story and 1 image)

US Military and CIA Leaders May Be Investigated for War Crimes
Marjorie Cohn via james, Friday, Nov 17 2017, 1:50am
Fat chance Ms Cohn, as it is established that the ICC only convicts those that are considered enemies of the USA; you would note that trials involving the KLA, a notorious Muslim criminal organisation, found none guilty of any crimes and that notwithstanding a published account by former chief prosecutor Carla Del Ponte, that the KLA were harvesting organs from captured Serbian civilians. It should also be noted that Croatian and Bosnian extremists were also found not guilty, give me a break! Do you find it odd that only Serbs were convicted and jailed after that American instigated conflict and that former Yugoslav president Milosevic was exonerated quietly after his death in jail?

Saudi Purge Signals War And New World Order Reset
Brandon Smith via jess, Thursday, Nov 16 2017, 9:09pm
For years now, I have been warning about the relationship of interdependency between the U.S. and Saudi Arabia and how this relationship, if ended, would mean disaster for the petrodollar system and by extension the dollar's world reserve status. (story and 2 images)

UPDATE on Syrian Crisis and America's grossly Illegal Interference
MOA via cyd, Thursday, Nov 16 2017, 8:24pm
There have been few significant movements during the last weeks. The war on Syria slowly grinds towards its end. The political tussle continues as ever. U.S. Secretary of Defense Mattis made a curious announcement of plans he can not fulfill.
