text Post Modernism as Weapon shirl, Sunday, Dec 3 2017, 9:41am
For those unaware of the post modern approach it could be reduced to the interpreter, reader, decoder, of culture constructing their own reality outside prescribed existing patterns; sounds good and seems neat and tidy, doesn’t it? However, the major flaw is that cultural subjects continue to be LED by narratives designed and broadcast by various media, 99% of which are owned by vested interests -- take note. And as we know all media today is obsessed with reducing social units or individuals to pliable subjects.

silk_roadsinitiative.jpg image What the REAL World is Doing Constructively while America Rants Nuclear War and Destruction Pepe Escobar via gail, Saturday, Dec 2 2017, 10:01pm
The 19th Chinese Communist Party Congress made it clear that the New Silk Roads – aka, the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI) – launched by President Xi Jinping just four years ago, provides the concept around which all Chinese foreign policy is to revolve for the foreseeable future. Up until the symbolic 100th anniversary of the People’s Republic of China, in 2049, in fact. (story and 1 image)

trumple.jpg image “Clueless” Buffoon Trump Hangs Self in Recent Tweet jake, Saturday, Dec 2 2017, 9:12pm
-- "The statement indicates that Trump was aware, when Flynn was forced to resign, that he had lied to the FBI about his contacts with Russian officials.”

-- “The tweet sheds light on Trump’s appeal to former FBI director James Comey to let go of the FBI’s investigation into Flynn, and his subsequent decision to terminate Comey when he did not comply.”

text Trace/Source Culture and its Perversions then Rectify cyd, Friday, Dec 1 2017, 9:27pm
The US population is aghast at Trump’s clearly partial tax ‘reforms’ which clearly favour the wealthy elite and burden the already underprivileged poor, as though this cruel behaviour is a surprise. It isn’t.

text We are all created beings and no being has the right to lord over another, that simple! Caitlin Johnstone via jane, Thursday, Nov 30 2017, 6:36pm
I just got through reading an unintentionally hilarious article in The Guardian whose author Tim Dowling shared it under the billing “I watched RT for a week so you don’t have to.” The whole thing is a story by a man immersed in mainstream narratives who spent a week perpetually aghast at how “surreal” it is to suddenly be hearing stories outside his echo chamber. Even while conceding that some of the programming was downright enlightening, Dowling just couldn’t get over the fact that he was seeing different things on RT than he was on BBC News and ended up writing about the experience in the way one might speak about their trip to a furry convention.

trumpidiot.jpg image A Spoilt, Attention-Seeking Petulant Toddler in the White House brenda, Thursday, Nov 30 2017, 2:07am
Indeed, the closest approximation to Donald Trump in the real world is as the title indicates, and we all have experience of this type of spoilt infant that would aggravate, scream, irritate and do anything to get attention. Fortunately most of these badly raised, by sensitive new age guys (SNAGS) and politically correct, indulgent mothers, do grow into stable maturity after confronting the outside world which does not tolerate these behaviours. School is a great teacher as kids from an early age are exposed to other kids, most of which have been fairly well raised. Neither teachers or other kids succumb to toddler tantrums and attention seeking. (story and 1 image)

Full of unsubstantiated accusations and shit image The Rhetorical Trap: North Korea as “State Sponsor of Terrorism” Binoy Kampmark via jaxie, Wednesday, Nov 29 2017, 10:16am
Are such designations ever useful? At the stroke of a pen, an entire state is designated “terrorist” or a seemingly milder sponsor of terrorism, its name finding a way onto a list of supposed unmentionables and moral inverts. Obscure groups and more notable countries huddle together, supposedly sharing some disreputable common ground and we are none the wiser on the content behind the categorisation. (story and 1 image)

text The Farcical Nature of State Media Finian Cunningham via sal, Tuesday, Nov 28 2017, 8:10pm
Russia's tit for tat response to the US and Europe attempting to contain Russian media outlets has revealed that all media is partial or biased, that is a given and self-evident. So if one group attempts to contain the other, the other applies the exact same measures of containment. However, let's not get lost or distracted by the trees as the forest is the issue here -- mass MEDIA and its pervasive influence!

text US Provides Military Aid To More Than 70 Percent Of World’s Dictatorships Whitney Webb via stacey, Tuesday, Nov 28 2017, 5:18am
About three-quarters of the world’s dictatorships currently receive military assistance from the United States. This is a strange record for a nation that consistently justifies its sweeping foreign interventions as aimed at “promoting democracy” and “thwarting evil dictatorships.”

text Bald Face Racism and Abuse of Refugees Binoy Kampmark via jane, Monday, Nov 27 2017, 5:06am
It was another etching in a chronicle of extended violence. For days, resistance by refugees and asylum seekers against forced removal from the Lombrom Naval Base on Manus Island had taken very public form. Images of defiance and distress were receiving international attention. With no electricity, with water supplies destroyed, things were getting dire.

text Logic/Education Against Matrix Indoctrination Jon Rappoport via shirl, Sunday, Nov 26 2017, 9:48pm
Over the past year, I’ve been in communication with several teachers/educators who have informed me about the descent into more social programming [indoctrination] in school classrooms.

From so-called environmental agendas, to discussions about gender orientation and choice of gender identity, to sex education, to teaching about “liberalism,” the indoctrination is getting thicker and deeper.

Useless leader Turnbull, clearly responsible for conservative thrashing in QLD image Queensland State Election Confirms Turnbull's Failed Leadership suzie, Saturday, Nov 25 2017, 11:20pm
Indeed, the conservatives were trounced in QLD, not least for the reason that conservative PM, MalcolmTurnbull, who triggered an unnecessary DD election that allowed fringe ultra-right party One Nation to regain a foothold and steal conservative votes from the majors -- Turnbull clearly outsmarted himself with his trickster lawyer failed tactics, notwithstanding he is one of the worst PMs in Australian history, but what does he care, he got his portrait in Parliament House. text From an Open Internet, Back to the Dark Ages of Privileged Elite Rule Jonathan Cook via james, Saturday, Nov 25 2017, 10:42pm
Could anyone still doubt that access to a relatively free and open internet is rapidly coming to an end in the west? In China and other autocratic regimes, leaders have simply bent the internet to their will, censoring content that threatens their rule. But in the “democratic” west, it is being done differently. The state does not have to interfere directly – it outsources its dirty work to corporations.

Thoroughly corrupt, COWARD, Putin image Law Flouting Rogue State Intends to Remain in Syria After Terrorists Routed South Front via jane, Saturday, Nov 25 2017, 7:35pm
Indeed, the rogue, criminal USA couldn't give a damn about international law, the US-Saudi-Israeli sponsored proxy war in Syria is virtually over and peace negotiations have been planned. However, the USA will have none of it and intends to pursue its 'Assad must go,' policy and ILLEGAL occupation, but this time utilising the bought Kurds as pawns instead of the failed ISIS, Nusra and Al-Qaeda terrorists.

The overtly criminal USA is DIRECTLY responsible for the murder of millions of innocent civilians and children in the Middle East and the displacement of tens of millions more, yet the OBVIOUSLY partial, politicised Hague courts have yet to haul one American into the dock for war and other crimes against humanity, ABSURD!

googlecensored.jpg image Plutocrats Are Pursuing Internet Censorship And They’re Barely Hiding It Caitlin Johnstone via james, Friday, Nov 24 2017, 9:48pm
A few days ago Facebook blocked my account for posting an article about false flag operations around the world, then two days later unblocked me with an apology after I made a big stink about it, saying it was an accident. Things went back to normal, then yesterday something changed and now the only people seeing my posts on that account are Facebook friends I was interacting with back in 2012 and haven’t spoken with in years. A number of users have told me that their post visibility has been really weird there the last few days. (story and 1 image)
