Furious Jakarta to haul in Australian ambassador over spying claims

It seems that the American puppet government of Indonesia is "furious" over alleged spying claims done by Oz at the behest of America -- an interesting scenario to say the least. The Oz ambassador has been "summoned," ta da! But not to make light of all this ridiculous posturing and pretence -- it is WIDELY known that both nations are firmly under the control of Washington -- this confrontation presents THE PERFECT opportunity to DEMAND the arrest and deportation of the KNOWN cold blooded Indonesian murderers of the BALIBO FIVE, notwithstanding that known murderers are now retired high government officials, nevertheless, war criminals and murderers remain stained until JUSTICE IS SERVED.

Snowden 'reveals' the known

Now watch affairs closely and witness for yourselves the gutless timid retreat (especially by the Australian government) of both parties as Washington intervenes to defuse this absurd storm in a thimble.

Compromising KNOWN Indonesian murdering criminals in high office and HOLDING THEM TO ACCOUNT would cause an international incident, notwithstanding that JUSTICE WOULD FINALLY BE SERVED, but criminal America, the world's leading civilian killing, terrorist nation, will have none of it.

Imagine if Oz officials had the guts to bring these cold blooded Indonesian murderers to justice for the murder of FIVE Australian civilians in cold blood, America would then be faced with attempting to justify the indiscriminate mass murder of MILLIONS of innocent civilians since the Vietnam war!

You have heard it via a thoroughly disgusted ex-sigs veteran who was privy to the eavesdropping on Indonesian special forces that murdered five innocent Australians in the 70's -- choke on the TRUTH successive GUTLESS Australian governments. Tony Abbott will no doubt continue the 'knee-walking, custard-faced attitude of Oz governments since Whitlam, yes, Whitlam, the first dishonourable PM involved in the matter!

THE Indonesian government will today call in Australia's ambassador, demanding an explanation of allegations the Jakarta embassy was involved in electronic eavesdropping in Indonesia.

If ambassador Greg Moriarty's explanation does not satisfy them, the Indonesians are likely to lodge a strong formal protest.

The "invitation" for Mr Moriarty to attend the Foreign Ministry today was instructed by Foreign Minister Marty Natalegawa, who yesterday evening arrived in Perth for an Indian Ocean Rim conference hosted by his Australian counterpart Julie Bishop.

"As a neighbouring country and friend, the reported actions do not reflect the spirit of existing friendship," the Indonesian Foreign Ministry said in a statement last night.

"It cannot be accepted by the government."

It came after Dr Natalegawa ordered his ministry to deliver a tough-worded protest on Wednesday to the Jakarta US embassy's charge d'affaires against American wiretapping and electronic surveillance activities, disclosed by the National Security Agency whistle-blower Edward Snowden.

Angered by reports that US agencies were spying on Indonesia, Dr Natalegawa yesterday called in the US embassy's charge d'affaires to protest over reports that the Americans had conducted electronic surveillance and phone-tapping from their Jakarta embassy.

Dr Natalegawa said that violated Indonesia's security and diplomatic ethics and was against the "spirit of friendship" between the two countries.

Dr Natalegawa acted again yesterday following a report, also emanating from information disclosed by Mr Snowden, that Defence Signals Directorate personnel had conducted electronic eavesdropping activities from Australian embassies in Jakarta, Kuala Lumpur, Bangkok, Hanoi, Beijing and other regional capitals. The Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade in Canberra earlier yesterday refused to confirm or deny that Mr Moriarty had been called in by the Indonesian government to explain the reported Australian actions.

Papua New Guinea will also ask Canberra to respond to reports that the embassy in Port Moresby was involved in the program.

Fairfax newspapers reported yesterday that Australian embassies were also being used secretly to intercept phone calls across Asia as part of a US-led global spying network.

PNG Prime Minister Peter O'Neill said he would raise concerns about the Australian eavesdropping claims with Canberra.

"We have just seen the same reports," he said during an address to the Australian Institute of Company Directors in Brisbane.

"We are, of course, going to seek some explanation from our friends in Australia."

Mr O'Neill said he would be very upset if his own phone calls were intercepted.

Tony Abbott and Ms Bishop responded to questions yesterday by saying the government did not comment on intelligence issues. In reality, most nations assume that diplomats in their capitals are likely to include some who are there to gather intelligence.
