The Politics of Omission and Distraction Today

Oz treasurer, Joe ‘corporate servant’ Hockey, is as good an example as any, as his conservative government is doing its best to serve the interests of the world’s tiniest minority, the families and individuals behind the globalist banking cartels and TAX ALLERGIC mega-corporations that the mega-banks facilitate.

Aussies have heard much recently about the AUSTERITY budget that lying Joe Hockey is attempting to impose on the world’s richest per capita nation. This measure, AUSTERITY by any other name, is viewed by the IMF as unnecessary in Australia, as it’s plain to see that the nation is extremely wealthy; BUT where do all the mega-profits go? In a word, offshore! That’s right, PARASITIC, TAX ALLERGIC, transnational corporations and other large companies and Banks are getting a FREE RIDE from the Abbott government, which has reduced the already INADEQUATE TAX on large earners that suck the life blood from the nation and run with the profits.

The parasitic companies that ‘frenzy-feed’ on the nation return virtually nothing from the benefits they derive to the people (government). Compare government tax revenues (indexed) over the past fifty years and figures reveals that the REASON government is lacking funds today is simply because it has failed to maintain FAIR TAXATION policies over the years!

Today the corporate sector pays the least tax to government, SINCE FEDERATION -- and that result in a nation that prides itself on a ‘fair go’ for everyone.

The problem is not the cost of essential services, health, education, worked-for pensions and essential infra-structure, it is CLEARLY the failure of government to impose a fair tax burden on those that benefit most from the nation -- and as every Aussie knows, those that benefit most are morally obliged to return most to the nation. But that is CLEARLY not occurring today, as PUPPET governments (from both camps) serve mega-wealthy commercial interests rather than the best interests of the nation/people.

However, to their credit the Europeans are, as I write, taking steps to prevent Corporate TAX AVOIDANCE; the 3% tax rate that Apple and other large corporate interests pay offshore in Ireland compared to an average 33% tax rate paid by individuals/people, is incriminating to the extreme. European regulatory bodies are currently reviewing these blatant imbalances and inequities, which have been occurring on a large scale since the Reagan and Thatcher, ‘trickle-down’ (‘up,’ in reality) laissez-faire era, which has continued today.

Now that we have established some hard facts and background information; we are able to deal with the ‘politics of ommission.’ Notice from the link below how Hockey’s discourse and that of his conservative colleagues, NEVER mentions REVENUE problems stemming from the lack of TAX applied to Transnationals and mining corporations. It is a trick used by stage magicians, marketers and ad agencies; keep the attention of consumers/viewers focused on something related but not on what you’re REALLY doing! And for those that imagine it’s only a trick to distract children, think again; I challenge you all to present this out of discourse fact to those distracted by the dominant discourse, i.e., the lack of government tax on those that benefit most from the nation.

National discourse should never be framed by parties seeking to serve interests other than those of the nation/people. The other critical factor relating to empty government coffers is WASTE and we need not go over covered ground; simply type ‘F-35', without the inverted commas, in the search box, left column of web-site for information.

Whenever ANY politician speaks, it is what is NOT being said that constitutes the most important aspects of the national discourse, never forget it.

A historical side note on the above point. During John Howard’s tenure, numerous controversial and outrageous sweeping laws were passed through parliament; in order to minimise public reaction or resistance, announcements of these very unsavoury legislations would ALWAYS be followed by a barrage of television advertisements about violence against women -- coincidence, I think not. Emotive issues are preferred when distracting the public becomes an imperative.

Notice today, in a world of American perpetual war, how Angelina Jolie, serving as useful idiot, is distracting the public from the ILLEGALITY of America’s wars and is shifting focus onto RAPE in war. I realise she has the best intentions, however, ignorance is NO EXCUSE, Jolie should immediately RETURN FOCUS on the ILLEGALITY of America’s modern wars, which would also serve to solve the rape in war problem. I suppose that shallow film stars in general should be 'seen and not heard;’ nevertheless, utilising the services of pretty film stars at this time informs analysts that the American Empire is panicking. The latest news relating to the unravelling of empire is that Islamist forces have re-taken two cities, in as many days, in Iraq, Mosul and Tikrit!

Every trick in the book is being used by American propagandists to prevent REALITY from interfering with the fiction they weave about American superiority and invincibility. I must mention that using proxy fighters in Libya and Syria, which Obama and his advisers thought a brilliant stroke, only served to arm militants with sophisticated weaponry, including shoulder-launched anti-aircraft weapons stolen from Gaddafi’s numerous arms depots around the country. “Without putting American boots on the ground,” bragged Obama at the time, well take another look how those weapons caches are being used today, you supremely stupid, American idiot. Quick, roll out Angelina Jolie and rape in war!
