Abbott licking Murdoch's arse image Rupert Murdoch Siphons $4.5b from His Australian businesses virtually Tax-Free Michael West via jaxie, Sunday, Apr 5 2015, 8:33pm
Now if we add that amount to Gina Rinehart's and other local and international mega-corporate Tax Avoiders like Apple and Google etc, the government -- the Australian nation -- is being robbed of trillions of dollars in revenue per annum, which clearly accounts for the budget shortfall. Blaming and then targeting the people for this shortfall is merely a 'blame the victim' game that tax avoiding elites play so well. The current failed Oz PM, Tony Abbott, who stole office with lies, deceit and Murdoch's help, is left in no-man's land as Abbott is loath to restore a FAIR taxation system for fear of losing the only support he has. Abbott promised the plutocrats he would implement THEIR policies and follow THEIR AGENDA in exchange for their support -- which he has unsuccessfullly tried to achieve by pushing/forcing unrepresentative policies through parliament. text Thinly Disguised New Law Designed to Target Hackers and Hacktivists staff report via jazq, Saturday, Apr 4 2015, 9:38pm
One of the first things kiddie hackers learn is how to direct the source of their attacks to other parties, known as 'spoofing' in the scene. Doing so is simplicity itself as the nature of digital traffic makes it virtually impossible to trace a professional hack. This is very well known even among fifth rate hackers that traitorously work for the State. This new law therefore allows governments to blame anyone they choose, another State, person, or entity, of illegal hacking. Everyone in the underground is aware of the ruse, however, the cardinal rule of anonymity maintains security, so those seeking notoriety like Julian Assange beware, fame is anathema to hackers. In view of the reality this absurdly broad new law is nothing more than an extension of police State oppression. Be aware!

Sell-outs, Joe Hockey and Tony Abbott image The IMF Proposes The Appropriation of Household Savings via james, Friday, Apr 3 2015, 12:15am
First reported by Forbes, the International Monetary Fund (IMF) dropped a bomb in its October Fiscal Monitor Report. The report paints a dire picture for high-debt nations that fail to aggressively “mobilize domestic revenue,” which is code for “aggressive taxation of citizens.” It goes on to build a case for drastic measures and recommends a series of escalating income and consumption tax increases – culminating in the direct confiscation of private assets. text The K.I.S.S. Principle: Keep It Simple Stupid! jess, Wednesday, Apr 1 2015, 11:08pm
I had occasion some years back to train inexperienced but highly qualified youth in the field of IT, and adhering to the above principle was a golden rule that applies not only to technical problems but to the social existential dilemmas of today.

text Journalistic Bias and Citizen Journalism jim, Wednesday, Apr 1 2015, 10:00am
In the context of reporting the facts all journalists should maintain their impartiality, however, that is where it ends, partiality or bias in journalistic analysis and commentary is not distortion, as the public has the facts and is able to arrive at their own conclusions.

text “Data Retention,” Australia’s Keystone Cops and Major Party Sell-outs Binoy Kampmark via sally, Tuesday, Mar 31 2015, 10:31pm
The first very revealing indicator of political non-representation is that BOTH major puppet parties passed this Bill into Law without adequate scrutiny or at least some proof that this Bill prevents crime. I refer to the recent Martin Place seige as evidence of a complete failure by police and other regulatory agencies to prevent a criminal action by a felon that was known and monitored by local spy agencies and the State police. And now these incompetent imbeciles have been given more material to create evermore havoc on our lives -- the details of every citizen's metadata private communications and whereabouts (GPS aware smartphones) is now readily avaialble without warrants to imbecile police and our boy scout spy agencies -- God help Oz!

text Ex-pat Aussie working with Washington Confirms World is less Safe since US initiated War on Terror mitch, Tuesday, Mar 31 2015, 4:46am
In a recent interview on the Oz ABC '7.30' program, Dave Kilcullen, who is remembered for his animated involvement with the criminal neocons and the illegal invasion of Iraq, appears to have finally come to grips with reality – America has done nothing but aggravate conflicts around the world and the result is the world is a much unsafer place, thanks Dave for at least admitting the Truth to the Australian public!

text US Seeks to Eventually Partition Sri Lanka in order to 'Contain' China Tamara Kunanayakam via jess, Monday, Mar 30 2015, 11:16pm
The United States has no genuine interest in accountability or reconciliation in Sri Lanka, but is seeking a strategic military base in Asia, says Tamara Manimekhalai Kunanayakam, onetime Sri Lanka’s Permanent Representative to the United Nations Office at Geneva and Sri Lanka’s Ambassador to Holy See.

text History forgotten is History Repeated jaxie, Monday, Mar 30 2015, 9:42am
I remember a history class in my junior high school years describing the horrific treatment that Jews received in Nazi Germany – how was it possible? Germany was a socially progressive advanced society on par with, and in many instances surpassing, other European nations, indeed, the population was civilised and advanced, however, it couldn’t and didn’t survive complete control of the mass media under the helmsmanship of sinister genius Dr Goebbels, and that is a lesson for America and other western nations today – information control is mind control.

text Unprovoked Military Aggression in the Middle East – Goodbye rule of Law justin, Sunday, Mar 29 2015, 10:36pm
The unprovoked attacks on Yemen (Iran) by US vassals in the region and the mute response of the now obviously partial UN marks a watershed moment in international lawlessness. So many international laws and charters have been breached by this unjustified, lawless attack it defies reason. But that is the point the world has entered a new very obvious, dangerous phase, outright undisguised, gangsterism, where the rule of violence and destruction prevail over civilised law and order – and that spells disaster for the entire WORLD.

text You Want the Truth – MINORITY Vested Interests are Responsible for All the World’s Conflicts! beatrice, Sunday, Mar 29 2015, 8:26am
The truth is always simple and stark, in a sense the title says it all and I should not be required to elaborate, however, for the sake of the uninformed or mass media captured, I shall continue.

text AIIB: Australia to sign up for Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank staff report via baz, Saturday, Mar 28 2015, 9:17pm
In possibly the severest public relations blow to the US, the formerly ultra-servile Oz government defies Washington's pleas and joins the AIIB. Oz joins many Western European nations that also defied US requests not to join -- the world will never be the same again, a massive power shift away from US economic domination has just taken place!

Regardless of the spin the Murdoch press creates below i.e. the (irrelevant) inclusion of the US controlled World Bank and Asia Development Bank, the writing is on the wall. It is little wonder the USA is now desperately attempting to lure (Yemen/Iran) Russia and China into a nuclear exchange in the Middle East. The coup de gras will be if America is forced to join before the deadline on 31 March -- we hope America's rustic pride prevents it.

audio Eve of Destruction Barry McGuire via sal, Saturday, Mar 28 2015, 8:38pm
The socially connected and active culture of the 60's delayed what is occurring at speed today. The responsibility for recent calamitous events falls squarely on the shoulders of today's narcissistic 'me' culture. Well, confront the world you now face, you pathetic, self-obsessed, digital slaves. "There'll be no one to save, with the world in a grave." (story and 1 audio file)

russiawantswar.jpg image Intolerable rees, Saturday, Mar 28 2015, 3:09am
It simply is intolerable for any sane, civilised, peace loving human being to support a nation that adheres to a “perpetual war” ideology as its primary form of dealing with a wide range of existential issues/demands. Civilised, SANE societies base their existence and economies on peaceful production to enhance the lives of citizens – any nation that follows the most destructive form of activity known to man, WAR, though it temporarily profits an extreme minority, should never be supported by any sane person or nation -- that is self-evident. Yet the unfortunate reality for us all is that the world’s leading civilian killing, warring nation, AMERICA, continues to be supported. Clearly this situation is nothing short of INSANITY, as the culmination of “perpetual war” is NEVER peace and stability but absolute destruction – basic REASON dictates as much. (story and 1 image)

text Saudi Attack on Yemen - Is Brazen Criminality The New Normal? Tony Cartalucci via sadie, Friday, Mar 27 2015, 9:15am
Saudi Arabia, in an unprecedented act of unprovoked unilateral [criminal] military aggression against Yemen by an autocratic absolute monarchy, was allegedly triggered in a US-backed attempt to restore what Riyadh is calling the "legitimate government of Yemen."

eurekaflag1.jpg image The Police State is Spying on YOU NOW, where is your Backbone? baz, Friday, Mar 27 2015, 1:14am
With the passing of the meta-data retention Bill into what is laughingly called the ‘law’ in vassal State Australia, the nation has followed the U.S. into totalitarianism and the evil, mega-wealthy, shadowy, ruling elite couldn’t be happier; they now have the means to spot dissenters and fighters for freedom and DEMOCRACY with ease. So who takes responsibility for this outrageous anti-democratic act, the people of course – corrupt, unrepresentative politicians are a given these days? (story and 1 image)

police.jpg image "Comply or Die" - Police State truebluemajority via demi, Thursday, Mar 26 2015, 7:40am
Do YOU need more proof - indefinite detention without charge or trial, genital groping by DHS perverts, rendition, legalised torture, secret legal assassination lists etc; that is America TODAY and it's a very sad case principally because the people wear it without massive opposition. And if you decide to oppose this criminal police State you face legal summary execution at the hands of the police, which have been given almost free rein to suppress and oppress the population. The 'free' USA today makes the former totalitarian Soviet Union look tame -- at least they staged mock trials before eliminating dissenters. (story and 2 images)

obama_tear.jpg image HYPOCRITE Obama - A320 crash “heartbreaking” … so many children on board tori, Wednesday, Mar 25 2015, 12:23am
The recent loss of the German A320 airbus in the French Alps with 150 dead is a tragic accident and our sympathy goes out to those impacted by the tragic disaster. However, when the leader of the world’s leading child-killing nation pretends sorrow over the loss of children on board it only amplifies the crimes, outrageous hypocrisy and double standards of the USA, and there is no avoiding the millions of children murdered by the US in its illegal wars of resource appropriation/THEFT. china_flag.jpg image The AIIB - China Ensures that America has lost its pathological bid for World Domination leon, Tuesday, Mar 24 2015, 9:05am
We should all know of the pushy overbearing alpha-male, narcissistic types and their insensitive brutish behaviour; I remember a John Wayne movie depicting the archetypal American male confronting the skill of a Chinese martial arts expert demonstrating his swordsmanship. After various gyrations and intimidating manoeuvres by the martial artist, John Wayne (America) reached for his .45 and shot the martial artist dead – that being a demonstration of American supposed superiority, cultural consciousness and technological dependence. money_toilet_roll.jpg image Where Does All the Money Go? joe, Tuesday, Mar 24 2015, 12:14am
The Fed and its major reserve banks throughout the world have been printing money like toilet paper for years, thousands of trillions in fact, but if you’re an average citizen you see almost none of it; nevertheless, money doesn’t just disappear, someone appropriates it, so the huge 2008 ‘economic crisis/collapse’ as it’s known in the media, was only a collapse for those that didn’t get the cash, that’s the first indisputable point I would like to make.
