While we admire and glorify corporate and political sociopaths should we expect the world to change for the better or worse? Consider the events of the past 15 years since the global elite decided that the law would only apply to the masses. During that period the greatest crimes, including a human holocaust in Iraq, have been committed by politicians that clearly serve the interests of the global oligarchy/plutocracy.

Destructive to local industries, former Coles MD, Ian McLeod

Yet, there is no escaping the overwhelming reality that no-one could hope to change, which is and always was, that the most powerful social force for change and justice on the planet is the global masses; so if you desire change or a fairer world then look to yourself.

Dear Mr Waterreus,

Thank you for the prompt response to my previous email.

As was posted on numerous websites at the time, I am aware of Ian McLeod's cowardly "stand down" (without a position to immediately fill) from his role as MD of Coles three days prior to the court case instituted by the ACCC, which resulted in a three million dollar fine and costs awarded against Coles, thank you, Ian McLeod!

Indeed, neither you nor Mr McLeod are long out of my immediate attention, as the unresolved aspects of my case are the direct result of your cowardly, amateurish and arrogant intervention and of course Mr McLeod as MD/CEO at the time, must accept final responsibility for your incompetence in dealing with the matter.

As you may now appreciate your insulting $50 voucher offer after nine months of deliberately ignoring my case has now translated into tens of thousands in lost sales and severe impacts on reputations (Coles/Wesfarmers) and future career options -- it was the least I could do in the circumstances and please note that you were given fair warning on numerous occasions but failed to heed the advice, no doubt another symptom of your inexperience and/or arrogance!

I noted your desire to 'run' from responsibility on a previous occasion when you feebly attempted to move my case to another person/department -- this latest attempt of yours to do same has also failed.

Take note, I will not be distracted or allow any incompetent amateur to 'pass the buck', it is you that holds the 'baby' until this matter is resolved in an agreeable and fair manner. Responsibility remains with you and Mr McLeod and what a tragic, inept cowardly figure Ian McLeod presents at this point in time -- resolving this matter is simplicity itself, notwithstanding the task is clearly beyond your and Mr McLeod's capabilities.

Please be advised that this email will be published and circulated to the board of Wesfarmers as it is only appropriate that your superiors and the public be made aware of failings and inadequacies in your company; perhaps your new MD may see fit to intervene and resolve this matter or become the next person to accept responsibility for the continuing failures of Coles' QC, PR and Customer Care.
