Zaky Mallah: the Divisionist “them or us” mentality of Tony Abbott

Tony Abbott, deceiver, DISTRACTOR and LIAR extraordinaire, recently seized the opportunity to criticise the public broadcaster (ABC) for allowing a convicted Muslim felon a platform to air his views on ISIL and the ‘terrorist threat,’ which Abbott and his conservatives are flogging to death in the media to distract the population away from focusing on Abbott’s cruel policies which continue to target the vulnerable and average Australian citizens -- we notice immediately Abbott’s inability to attack ‘corporatists,’ which group is ripping Australia blind via tax avoidance and the wholesale plunder of OUR national resource wealth.

That issue aside for the moment, though it should be shoved down Abbott's lying throat on every occasion the media interviews him. Tony Abbott true to pugilist form, went hell for leather denouncing the ABC as a “lefty lynch mob” (divide and wedge again) for its decision to allow an ISIL “sympathiser” to condemn one his parliamentary staff, Steve Ciobo, on the Q&A program.

However, it was plainly evident that the conservative parliamentary secretary, cynically made the issue personal, by stating that, "… I'm happy to look you [Mr. Mallah] straight in the eye and say that I'd be pleased to be part of the government that would say that you were out of the country [revoked citizenship]. I would sleep very soundly at night with that point of view." Now that’s not a personal attack or cynical provocation on a panel discussion program, is it?

I was actually surprised at the calm reaction of the Muslim target, Zaky Mallah, when a more appropriate Aussie response would have been, ‘go and get yourself well and truly …… , for (cynically) making the matter personal!

Clearly provoked Mr Mallah foolishly went on to say, to paraphrase, ‘that its politicians like [Steve] Ciobo that justify disillusioned Muslim youths joining ISIL,’ a not altogether inaccurate statement, especially considering that the biggest alienator and social divider in the land is the lying, divisionist, politically opportunistic prime minister.

But it was Mr Mallah’s response, not Steve Ciobo’s provocation that made headlines in the Murdoch and other compliant press to the usual exclusion of rapacious corporatists, the real evil and threat to the nation -- notwithstanding the complete media blackout on Abbott’s austerity policies, incompetence and tendency to always DIVIDE and pick a fight. Abbott would be right at home in the Southern USA clad in white apparel burning a cross. A divisionist politician should never be allowed to remain as PM of a tolerant, egalitarian nation, period. But then we should remember that Abbott’s principal mentor was conservative PM and war criminal (Iraq holocaust) John Howard who resurrected the ‘race’ corpse and utilised it opportunistically for political purposes.

Now there’s a white Christian Aussie take on the matter, and if I may add, corporate loving Abbott will not get away with it as there are plenty of thinking Aussies that will expose his and his conservatives’ feeble tricks at every turn – excluding of course the spineless ABC for apologising, and the corporate owned mass media that always support their political puppets.

Remember Oz, while Abbott continues to DISTRACT and scream, “the boats, the boats” and “terrorism” you are being right royally screwed by his corporate serving austerity policies.
