Minister RESPONSIBLE for Border Force, LIES through his teeth like his boss Tony Abbott
by darcy Sunday, Aug 30 2015, 12:33am
international / prose / post

Socially detested PM Tony Abbott, who lied his way into office, has shown the way for his entire party, Peter Dutton the ex-detective minister responsible for the Nazi mentality of HIS new, armed, black uniformed, Border ‘Force’ says that he received advice from Border Force officers regarding randomly checking the public for their visas/papers but didn’t read it, tell Australia another one you gutless, lying hound, your party’s DISHONEST ‘form’ is a matter of pub and social discourse, notwithstanding that the minister and his leader are duty-bound to take full responsibility!

Peter Dutton and Tony Abbott, lying cowards
Peter Dutton and Tony Abbott, lying cowards

It is par for the course with the cowardly Australian conservatives to LIE, cheat and deceive the public, as ALL Australians are well aware – who are you trying to kid, Abbott and ilk? Australia is NOT uninformed banjo-playing America and the methods they use on their lobotomised population clearly do not cut it here?

Australia has noted the cowardice and deceit of Abbott on each occasion a scandal affects his party, he goes to ground like the cowardly dog that he is and hopes for the best rather than take RESPONSIBILITY as leader and deal with the problem. It is no secret that Abbott and ‘his team’ of lying, elite serving buffoons, are attempting to implement a US style oppressed/contained society in Oz, well give it your best shot clowns and see where it gets you!

The social disconnect of Abbott’s entire party is stunning, they all lie continually and follow formulas dictated by elitist plutocrats and their marketing consultants to manage the masses BUT FAIL to appreciate that Australia has a unique culture that is not easily intimidated or duped – after all, this nation has a penal colony past which serves it well today. Oz is NOT an authoritarian bible-bashing culture like the USA, it is secular and egalitarian with a healthy tall poppy syndrome so anyone that attempts to overreach is immediately brought back to earth/REALITY and that reality is the unique AUSTRALIAN cultural consciousness.

The following report from The Australian reveals more than Murdoch intended:

Border Force farce: Bill Shorten canes Tony Abbott on security

Deputy Liberal leader Julie Bishop has labelled Bill Shorten’s reaction to an operation involving Australian Border Force as “over the top”.

The opposition leader has raised concerns about the now cancelled Operation Fortitude planned in Melbourne over the weekend, saying he didn’t want to live in a “police state”.

Ms Bishop told Network Ten it was never the intention of the force to stop people randomly in the streets and “Bill Shorten’s reaction is completely and utterly over the top”.

But Mr Shorten hit back, saying it wasn’t a matter of whether Labor’s reaction was right or wrong.

“The real issue is Operation Fortitude has become a farce”, he told reporters in Brisbane.

Instead of taking responsibility for the error, the federal government is throwing “some middle level, bureaucrat in a uniform under the bus”, Mr Shorten said.

The federal government has distanced itself from the bungled operation, saying it would never condone random visa spot checks.

Prime Minister Tony Abbott said his department had no prior knowledge of the operation in Melbourne, which was cancelled following protests and criticism of his government.

He said nothing untoward had happened except the agency’s issuing a poorly-worded press release, describing it as a mistake and “over-the-top”.

“We would never stop people randomly on the street and demand their visa details,” he told reporters in Sydney on Saturday. Such operational news releases were often issued under the authority of agency officials and not the government.

“That all happens at arm’s length from ministers, at arm’s length from the executive government,” the Prime Minister said.

The Sunday Telegraph reported today Immigration Minister Peter Dutton had confirmed his office had received a copy of the Border Force press release announcing the since-abandoned patrol initiative, but it had not been read because the release had been regarded as “routine’’.

Government frontbencher Simon Birmingham said it was up to Border Force commissioner Roman Quaedvlieg to figure out what went wrong.

“It’s really now up to him to get to the bottom of how this mistake occurred within his agency,” he said on Saturday.

But Labor demanded the government take responsibility for the “quasi police state” plan rather than shifting blame on the agency.

Opposition Leader Bill Shorten described the saga as one of the government’s most “catastrophically silly” ideas.

Mr Shorten says it took some time for the full magnitude of the operation to sink in before he realised it was a bad “police state” look for Melbourne.

Mr Shorten was initially not too critical of the Border Force operation on Friday, but after it was abandoned, he strongly denounced it.

Speaking with reporters on the sidelines of the West Australian Labor conference on Saturday, he described it as “one of the most catastrophically silly ideas I’ve seen this government do”.

“To be honest, I couldn’t believe what I was hearing,” Mr Shorten said.

“I’m sure, by the way, that regardless of one’s politics, when you first heard about this, you would have gone ‘what?’

“As more facts came to light yesterday, I don’t think there’s a single Victorian and indeed a single Australian whose jaw just didn’t hit the ground.

“Truly, how dumb is this government some days?

“I fly out of Melbourne early yesterday morning and Mr Abbott goes and wrecks confidence in my home town as soon as I leave the state.”

Mr Shorten said the government needed to take responsibility for the “quasi police state” plan, rather than blaming whoever wrote the news release.

“You cannot find a coalition minister, Mr Dutton or Mr Abbott, to explain what’s gone on.

“Here’s my prediction: they’re going to throw another poor old uniformed person under the bus, so to speak, to take the rap.”

Former independent MP Tony Windsor, who is considering a return to politics, accused the government of orchestrating a deliberate fear campaign to distract the public.

“I’ve got no doubt that some of these people in Abbott’s government hope that something goes wrong domestically - that they can taunt a Muslim into doing something,” he said.

Mr Abbott dismissed as “a bit of hyperventilation” accusations the government was part of a political plan to shift the public focus on national security announcements.

Meanwhile, the union representing the agency’s officers will take safety complaints to the government and the Immigration Department.

The CPSU is concerned workers have been potentially put at risk for political aims.

Mr Abbott also defended the agency against ridicule, saying anyone who demeaned officers should be ashamed.

“The idea that they should be pilloried on the basis of a badly-worded press release just shows that some people readily get things completely out of proportion.”

It is CLEAR that Australia will never be served or represented by elite serving conservatives. A shock is in store at the next federal election, be assured, as people have woken to the constant deceit, lies, duplicity and cowardice of major party contenders that all take their orders from unrepresentative elites, isn't that right Mr Abbott and Mr Shorten?

Australia is in dire need of proper representation and that cannot be found in either major party -- the two owned party poltical charade is over, VOTE for REPRESENTATIVE INDEPENDENTS at every opportunity available. Perhaps soon the Australian public may find a true REPRESENTATIVE Statesman in the ranks. Double-dealing weak-kneed, untrustworthy Bill Shorten is a joke as is duplicitous pathological liar Abbott and his disconnected lying party.
