Malcolm Turnbull and Narcissistic Personality Disorder (NPD)

Australia has been cursed by severely flawed leaders since NPD suffering ‘show pony/photo op’ Kevin Rudd assumed office though subsequent leaders had other flaws like Gillard allowing Oz to be occupied by a foreign troop presence and demented dunce Abbott, who needs no further explanation, however, Turnbull is in a league all to himself, though ‘do nothing’ Rudd would give him a run for his money.

Malcolm Turnbull - in need of treatment

Notice Turnbull's rhetoric after he became leader, ‘this is an exciting time, full of optimism and opportunity, it’s the greatest time to be alive, the bad old days are over because I’m prime minister (implied); never mind hard reality and incompetent government -- never forget Turnbull has achieved ABSOLUTELY NOTHING TO DATE – not to mention the world going to hell in a hand basket – however, REALITY rarely interferes with psychiatric disorders.

Compare classic symptoms of Narcissistic Personality Disorder with Turnbull’s clearly overblown opinion of himself, and tragic for Australians, disconnect from REALITY:

- Has a grandiose sense of self-importance e.g., exaggerates achievements and talents, expects to be recognised as superior WITHOUT COMMENSURATE ACHIEVEMENTS.

- Is preoccupied with fantasies of unlimited success, power, brilliance, beauty and self-love.

- Believes that he or she is ‘special,’ superior, unique, born to lead and can only be understood by other ‘special/elite’ people.

- Pathologically requires excessive admiration.

- Has a very strong sense of entitlement, e.g., unreasonable expectations, favourable treatment or automatic compliance with his or her views and expectations.

- Is exploitative of others, e.g., takes advantage of others to achieve his or her own ends.

- Lacks empathy, e.g., is unwilling to recognise or identify with the feelings and needs of others, especially the lowly masses.

- Is envious of others or BELIEVES THAT OTHERS ARE ENVIOUS OF HIM or her.

- Regularly displays arrogant, haughty behaviours or attitudes.

Notice how Turnbull behaves in interviews and in parliamentary debates he simply disregards what doesn’t conform to HIS world view, a recent example was when hopeless opposition leader Shorten was questioning him on the clearly regressive and unfair proposed GST hike, which of course disadvantages those least able to afford it; Shorten justifiably asked Turnbull to "rule out" certain aspects that would disadvantage the poor like taxing fresh food, Turnbull’s respond was, “the rule in, rule out days are over,” and hopeless Shorten had no response. Are you kidding me, WHO fuckin' says that questions uncomfortable for sitting governments, ‘are over,’ God? No, God’s representative in Australia, Malcolm Turnbull, it’s medication time, nurse Ratched?

It would have been simple to turn Turnbull’s response into an expose’ of his psychiatric condition for any astute polly but of course the opposition party is devoid of talent and Turnbull was allowed to contort the situation to his advantage with a non-substance declaration from on high, the man drips pathology though few seem able to exploit his severely flawed personality.

Also note Turnbull’s use of moronic, American open-ended MEANINGLESS/UNQUALIFIED metaphors, like “moving forward” and “everything is on the table;” meanwhile Aussies have no idea what “everything” is, which literally includes my cock and arsehole, so let’s define and outline what policies and proposals are ‘under consideration.’ American unqualified metaphors may be acceptable in America, which is home to the most uninformed and ignorant population in the western world, however, socially aware Australians EXPECT substance, clarity, character, AND REPRESENTATION from their leaders, not a constant stream of evasive bullshit and prima donna behaviour.

Meanwhile, the stark REALITY of Turnbull’s lack of any personal achievements are ignored by the mass media -- Turnbull has proven he is not capable of repealing any of Abbott’s callous and unfair policies that were inflicted on duped Australians.

Turnbull’s ‘popularity’ most certainly is attributable to mass media spin and support as Turnbull is their man and is a member of the minority privileged elite, which highlights the fact that he is NOT a man of the PEOPLE; any average Aussie that expects representation from an elitist is either gullible or dreaming.

I could go on, however, it would be preferable to allow Aussies to watch Turnbull like an insect under a microscope as he is indeed a classic case of NPD and a specimen begging for further study and deconstruction. And shame on the hopeless, unequipped Labor party that must truly miss a politician like Keating who was able to spot a weakness and exploit it instinctively – Labor has no hope unless Shorten steps aside and becomes deputy leader where he is more suited to make a positive contribution. Failing to nail fairy floss Turnbull at every turn is unforgivable, notwithstanding Turnbull hopes and prays that Shorten will lead Labor to its next election defeat.
