Useless, corporate-serving, narcissistic prick image Australians About To Learn a Bitter Lesson Regarding UN-representative Useless Governments stacey, Thursday, Sep 1 2016, 11:48pm
It’s already evident, no sooner than the 45th parliament began the conservatives blew it by not ensuring their minimal numbers were on the floor. It allowed for the opposition to make a point at the expense of the nation, bickering and adversarial tactics will only continue as the nation goes backwards at speed. (story and 1 image)

text One Good Outcome of the US Presidential Election claire, Tuesday, Aug 30 2016, 1:43am
Don’t kid yourselves readers, the global elite that appear as the Bilderberg group, CFR, Trilateral Commission and other invitation only organisations, never allow anyone not ‘chosen’ to become president of THEIR nation, America. Numerous contributors to this site have stated it plainly supplying numerous accounts of how these groups, which comprise the global elite, have hijacked all western governments but particularly the American, the jewel in the crown. Voting and the election race is a charade, as the outcome has been predetermined. And so it will be this time around, Hillary was promised the presidency at the Virginia Bilderberg meeting some years back, when she was instructed to step aside and allow Obama to run.

text The Illegal War on Syria: The Western Media vs. Truth/Reality Ian Sinclair via jane, Sunday, Aug 28 2016, 11:48pm
“The sinister fact about literary censorship in England is that it is largely voluntary”, George Orwell noted in his censored preface to his 1945 book Animal Farm. “Unpopular ideas can be silenced, and inconvenient facts kept dark, without the need for any official ban”. Orwell went onto explain that “at any given moment there is an orthodoxy, a body of ideas which it is assumed that all right-thinking people will accept without question. It is not exactly forbidden to say this, that or the other, but it is ‘not done’ to say it”.

us_population__dumb_and_dumber.jpg image Smartphones - far too smart for the majority of users vax, Sunday, Aug 28 2016, 12:39am
Indeed, the astounding features of smartphones are a juicy target for those interested in monitoring and surveillance, and I would add that not only government agencies (NSA) are involved in this type of hacking, private corporate hackers have exploited smartphones to rake in $zillions by selling their mal/spyware to any large entity that wishes to spy on its population. text How Western Media Misreports and Propagandises the Illegal US War on Syria Gareth Porter via jill, Saturday, Aug 27 2016, 12:07am
Coverage of the breakdown of the partial ceasefire in Syria illustrated the main way corporate news media distort public understanding of a major foreign policy story. The problem is not that the key events in the story are entirely unreported, but that they were downplayed and quickly forgotten in the media’s embrace of themes with which they were more comfortable.

text The Broken Chessboard: Brzezinski Gives Up on Empire Mike Whitney via james, Thursday, Aug 25 2016, 11:02pm
Zbigniew Brzezinski, academic, author, adviser to US governments, implementer of proxy fighters and more recently, recantor, seems to have finally realised that ‘power’ is a fluid ‘substance’, something French academic Michel Foucault was acutely aware of. Power is never possessed for long, no sooner do those that imagine they possess it, watch in horror as power begins to trickle or rush away, as is happening to the USA as I write and has happened to every major empire in history. Brzezinski, would have done well to analyse historical empires prior to making a fool of himself in the form of asserting such idiocies as the USA is the world’s sole superpower and as such should embark on a ruining plan for global hegemony -- which I would emphasise, is the accelerating force in America’s road to ruin, not only as the ‘world’s sole superpower,’ but also as a viable, independent nation.

text Backed By US, Turkey Illegally Invades Democratic Sovereign Syria Brandon Turbeville via jess, Thursday, Aug 25 2016, 1:18am
On Wednesday morning, Turkey abruptly launched an all-out military assault on Syria, sending in tanks, troops, and engaging in airstrikes, in concert with airstrikes from the United States, to the northern portions of Syria near the Turkey-Syria border under the guise of combatting ISIS forces. At this time, the military operations seem focused around Jarablus.

text US Illegally Invades Syria And Warns Russia, which is Legally Assisting a Sovereign Nation Eric Zuesse via shirl, Tuesday, Aug 23 2016, 11:55pm
On Monday, August 22nd, the United States government — which demands the overthrow of the internationally-recognized-as-legal government of Syria — officially announced that America’s military forces in Syria will continue to occupy Syrian land, no matter what the Syrian government says, and will shoot down any Syrian planes that fly over U.S. forces there.

text Media Induced Illegal Wars John Pilger via jess, Tuesday, Aug 23 2016, 11:14pm
The exoneration of a man accused of the worst crimes of genocide made no headlines in the West. Neither the BBC nor CNN covered it. The Guardian allowed a brief commentary. Such a rare official admission was buried or suppressed, unlike the vile, untrue, media saturation of false accusations that US/NATO victim Slobodan Milosevic received when he was targeted for removal, falsely accused of heinous crimes and placed on trial in a politicised court by US/NATO forces. Milosevic latter died in prison before his name was cleared. Admitting fault by the West would explain too much about how the rulers of the world rule. Milosevic's fate today constitutes not only a war crime committed by the West but his arrest and trial breaches numerous international laws regarding the sovereignty of States/nations and highlights the gross illegality of 'regime change'.

You must be joking! image Growing Up Insane in America William Hawes via shirl, Sunday, Aug 21 2016, 1:17am
The current state of American politics must make us question whether any of our leaders in the Beltway can be described as “grown-ups”, i.e., fully mature and sane individuals. Between the endless war crimes, corporate corruption, lobbyists who bribe congressmen and write legislation, and the ineptitude of federal entities who are supposed to protect our health such as the FDA, EPA, and CDC, it would appear that leaders in all three branches of government, as well as the leaders of the corporate world, are either insane or suffer from various psychological disorders as well as suffering from a type of collective dementia/delusion, the common denominator of which complaints, being narcissistic self-focus and an utter lack of empathy for the other, or respect for the earth, environment. mission_accomplished_fail.jpg image “Mission Accomplished” -- Americans Live in a Dreamworld bruce, Saturday, Aug 20 2016, 9:33pm
Which mission was that, anyone could ask, as all America has accomplished is one disaster after another since it began its criminal push to militarily control the world (fat chance)? Yet not one lying neocon war criminal has been held to account for the needless millions of innocent war dead -- give the world a break, psychopathic dreamboats! (story and 1 image)

Yes, indeed, today democracy is DEAD and has been for decades. Minority, mega-wealthy special interests have taken ownership and control of ALL western governments, plain to see.

text Impaired Recall jess, Thursday, Aug 18 2016, 11:38pm
No, the title is not a movie, it’s a fact/reality. Today, the mainstream media is in the business of misinformation overload. The result is that media consumers suffer from memory short circuits, usually to the point that memories are wiped clean every 24 hours. If anyone doubts this new social phenomenon then simply try and recall the time when Obama normalised mafia murder tactics by making allowances for the president to compile secret ‘kill lists’ and then murder anyone anywhere on the planet who was/is on the hit list. To say these tactics and actions are illegal is gross understatement, yet Obama today is able to commit the most horrendous crimes with impunity. Previous, now aged generations, stand horrified at the complete lack of moral fibre today’s generations openly display.

coles4.jpg imageaudioPDF Document Australian Corporations Overrun by Foreign Executives and Their Toxic FOREIGN Policies employee, Wednesday, Aug 17 2016, 4:40am
Indeed, any Australian citizen that has had occasion to legitimately complain against any local corporation is aware of a new un-Australian culture of denial, stalling, blaming the victim and consciously making every effort to avoid responsibility for policy failures and other offences against consumers, employees and the public. And so it is with major supermarket COLES -- a Wesfarmers enterprise -- which company has been and continues to be under the executive management of Brits and other foreigners for decades. Now please note, the emphasis on “foreign/er” is only to highlight the lack of knowledge and familiarity with TRADITIONAL AUSTRALIAN CULTURAL VALUES, most notably, the FAIR GO! text The Normalisation of Deviance In Corporate Culture and Government Nicolas J S Davies via jaxie, Monday, Aug 15 2016, 11:24pm
Sociologist Diane Vaughan coined the term “normalization of deviance” as she was investigating the explosion of the Challenger space shuttle in 1986. She used it to describe how the social culture at NASA fostered a disregard for rigorous, physics-based safety standards, effectively creating new, lower de facto standards that came to govern actual NASA operations and led to catastrophic and deadly failures.

burning_constitution.jpg image The System is Rigged - We Don't Have To Take It ANYMORE! Patrick J. Buchanan via shirl, Saturday, Aug 13 2016, 9:25pm
“I’m afraid the election is going to be rigged,” Donald Trump told voters in Ohio and Sean Hannity on Fox News. And that hit a nerve. [Note that Trump uses future tense, however, it is already known that the System IS rigged -- I refer to the election of 'dubya' Bush over Al Gore and the electoral fraud in Florida.] (story and 1 image)

Kendrick Farris image Olympic Weightlifter - A Vegan! Caroline Praderio via gail, Friday, Aug 12 2016, 10:27pm
This piece should blow away all myths surrounding a meatless diet and strength levels. Kendrick Farris has been a vegan since 2014 and continues to compete at elite Olympic levels, notwithstanding by eliminating meat, animal corpses from his diet, he avoids a multitude of cancers.
