text The Plummeting of U.S. Standing in the World Paul R. Pillar via liz, Friday, Jul 7 2017, 10:23pm
The Pew Research Center released last week the results of one of its periodic surveys of global views of the United States and its leadership and policies. More than 40,000 people were polled in 37 countries across six continents between February and May. The most salient finding is a dramatic drop in confidence in the United States and, more specifically, in the current U.S. leadership.

text America has No Choice -- it either Partners with Russia and China or Goes Down Finian Cunningham via shirl, Friday, Jul 7 2017, 10:17pm
China and Russia have already ditched the US dollar in their vast energy trade. Now China is leveraging Saudi Arabia to also abandon the greenback for oil sales. No wonder, it seems, that US policies are increasingly lashing out. US global power depends on its presumed economic prowess and military force. With its economy in long-term decline, precipitated by the teetering dollar, the US rulers are relying increasingly on militarism to project power. That tendency is pushing the world to war.

text G20 and the Unrepresentative Corrupt Bastards that Determine OUR Future ray, Friday, Jul 7 2017, 1:31am
The confluence of the world’s leading political puppets at the G20 is always met with massive protests, the essence of which is, who do these corrupt elite-serving puppet politicians think they are determining our future by reinforcing a clearly nihilistic status quo?

Kim Jong Un celebrating successful launch of ICBM image U.S./Trump Loses Face Over N. Korea darcy, Thursday, Jul 6 2017, 12:00am
It hasn’t gone unnoticed in international leadership circles, America has failed miserably to deal with N. Korea. Naval fleets were sent to the waters around the Korean peninsular while stupid Trump attempted to intimidate China’s leader Xi with an illegal missile attack on Syria, while hosting a supposed diplomatic dinner, extremely bad form indeed but to be expected from rustic America. trumpmika.jpg image Liar-in-Chief and the Media claire, Tuesday, Jul 4 2017, 12:11am
Trump’s latest attack on yet another female media commentator (Mika B.) is as pathetic as it is absurd. We have the proven pathological LIAR and FRAUD in-Chief accusing others of being FAKE -- need I reach for an adage? (story and 1 image)

text Of Liars, War Criminals and Fools shirl, Saturday, Jul 1 2017, 12:07am
All western governments today are UN-representative of the majority, politicians lie to gain office/power then renege on the most important promises -- the latest FRAUD being Trump, who backflipped on jailing Clinton, ‘draining the Washington swamp,’ and establishing civil relations with Russia to fight the scourge of terrorism, which groups are EASILY defeated by cutting supply and prosecuting the nations known to be supporting terrorists groups and using them for political military purposes. Russia, China and the US working together are able to eliminate terrorist groups world-wide, simple -- they all share that enemy!

text The Truth about Washington's Constant Wars Paul Craig Roberts via cyd, Thursday, Jun 29 2017, 11:04pm
For 16 years the US has been at war in the Middle East and North Africa, running up trillions of dollars in expenses, committing untold war crimes, and sending millions of war refugees to burden Europe, while simultaneously claiming that Washington cannot afford its Social Security and Medicare obligations or to fund a national health service like every civilized country has.

text Trump’s LIES are a Given zed, Monday, Jun 26 2017, 7:04am
I have no idea why the media and consequently, a large percentage of the population are focusing on Trump’s pathological lying, as it is historically clear that all politicians lie through their teeth to gain office then renege on their promises, like ‘draining the Washington swamp, jailing H. Clinton for her criminal offences and restoring a sane relationship with Russia’ -- all lies, as was expected.

text Deep State - Dream State? Michael Morrissey via dulcie, Monday, Jun 26 2017, 12:12am
Now that the term "deep state" has entered into public usage, it is a convenient way to refer to actions and policies of the government that are taken, as the Wikipedia article says, "without regard for democratically elected leadership." Even President Trump has used the term. "Shadow government," or "cryptocracy, secret government, or invisible government," as another Wikipedia article says, carries with it more "conspiratorial" connotations -- though all of these terms include by definition the notion of conspiracy (in short, bad things planned by more than one person; see here for the legal definition).

Vladimir Putin, chicken shit image Putin May be Defeating Himself by Stupidly Attempting to Avoid War with America Mike Whitney via claire, Sunday, Jun 25 2017, 12:58am
Indeed, Putin is sane though his hesitancy and cowardice are known in Washington. He has failed to realise that the lunatic real leaders of the US are hell bent on war, in fact they have published as much and are following the PNAC manifesto to the letter. So Mr Putin, REALITY is staring you in the face, apprehend it or suffer a DEVASTATING, preemptive nuclear strike. There are NO indications to the contrary.

The US invasion and occupation in Syria is in breach of numerous international laws and conventions, why do you tolerate such brazen criminality when the LAW is behind you, Mr Putin, the mouse? You know you are dealing with a criminal rogue state; simply demand that the USA withdraws from Syria and cite the many breaches of international law while doing so. What is your problem, you gutless wonder?

Instead of fulfilling a campaign promise to improve bilateral relations, Trump [now completely captured by the Deep State] continues acting provocatively.

text Neocons Cheer As Trump's Military Escalation in Syria Risks Global War Ben Norton via jill, Saturday, Jun 24 2017, 4:28am
Donald Trump campaigned (inconsistently) on a pledge to pursue a foreign policy that broke with the interventionist orthodoxy in Washington. He even correctly noted that past U.S. “foreign interventions unleashed ISIS in Syria, Iraq and Libya.”

romantrump.jpg image Nero and Trump -- the Similarities are Striking darcy, Saturday, Jun 24 2017, 1:34am
Emperor Nero played a musical instrument while Rome was intentionally consumed in flames, indeed, Trump twitters while America burns. However, the flames that consume America are not fire, they are inequality, wealth disparity, corruption, and the utter insanity of State pursing perpetual war. You see, there is a background story to the Nero legend and its similarities to the Trump presidency are a mirror image. (story and 1 image)
