JFK with Tito Russia vs US/NATO -- a multitude of Opportunities for smaller Groups/States posted by broz, 2014-03-27 22:34:26
It is to be expected that the mass media and alternative media should, without exception, focus on the gambit between Russia and the US/NATO, when in actual REALITY a number of smaller States and non-State players stand to make enormous gains from this superpower confrontation. We refer to the genius politics of Marshal Tito, probably the leading exponent of small State effective geo-politics, the world has ever seen. (full story)

There is an old adage which reads something like, ‘one man’s criminal is another man’s hero,’ and in reference to Wesfarmers Coles CEO, Ian McLeod, that adage couldn’t run closer to the grain. (full story)

NATO chief Rasmussen with Interpol listed Albanian Kosovar organised crime figure Hashim Thaci Libya -- another fine mess posted by Owen Jones via ben, 2014-03-24 10:49:18
Remember the effluent/rhetoric that issued from the mouths of Obama, Clinton, Cameron, Sarkozy, Merkel, Rasmussen and other Western leaders complicit in the gigantic crime against Libya. 'A brutal dictator is killing civilians' (lies) one pretext after another to steal Libya's (and Gaddafi's) immense wealth. Twenty six thousand (26,000) bombing sorties later, fanatic Islamists fighting for the US and Saudis on the ground, razed cities that supported Gaddafi, a DEBT FREE North African nation that enjoyed the highest living standard in the region was trashed, a western Reserve Bank established in Benghazi and the nation's oil and other resources stolen to pay for the 'huge debt incurred to re-build' essential infrastructures -- a totally transparent thieving gambit obvious to all, has left a stable prosperous nation, ruined. Who will pay for this monumental CRIME, Mr Ban Ki-Moon, you stinking lackey? Take a good IMPARTIAL look at US/NATO criminal handiwork in Libya and then squawk another tune! (full story)

Bringing it all to a Head posted by drew, 2014-03-24 00:11:43
We have been working for over two decades to steer the US far right and other international extremist groups into a global military confrontation with Russia and China, now it appears that we stand at the tantalising threshold of our objective. It is not a matter of corrupt governments and pathetic puppet politicians (on all sides) ‘huffing and puffing,’ it is for those best able to capitalise on opportunity and seize the moment that larger more cumbersome forces are unable to apprehend. Criminal Exceptionalism posted by judd, 2014-03-22 22:50:21
What has failed in the world today is MORALITY; and that implies the fault is ours -- WE SHARE RESPONSIBILITY for the current state of the world; we have failed ourselves, therefore our societies/cultures are failing or have already failed. (full story)

Serving and former inept puppet presidents Ukraine: trigger events and the collapse of nations posted by justin, 2014-03-21 01:15:10
I am referring to the thoroughly inept buffoons in Washington and the dissociated, clearly divorced from reality, plutocrats that control them. I would say without the slightest reservation or hesitation that your time has come and your nightmare show is all but over; radical remedial action (though highly unlikely) to save the situation, excepted. China and U.S. Failures posted by kuang, 2014-03-20 08:23:51
The first thing we need to remember when dealing with these two superpowers is that China is a 3000 year old culture that heavily influenced other Asian cultures over that period of time -- so China knows a thing or two about survival and good international relations. The other critically important factor everyone who is interested in dealing with any Asian nation needs to know is that Asians approach everything obliquely, never head on -- direct confrontations are traditionally considered course, ignorant, rustic and grossly ill-mannered, so you get the picture. America attempts to solve its international problems with a gun while China approaches other nations with constructive solutions and non-violence, ‘let’s do business’ to our mutual benefit! Who would you rather establish a relationship with? It is that simple, but the lunatic plutocrats that rule the USA have no idea how soft approaches/solutions work. (full story)

Barack 'where's my script' Obama Hit’ em with your handbag, Barack! posted by stane, 2014-03-19 00:00:27
Issues with the poofter puppet US president aside for the moment; the Russian Duma has responded to the west’s ILLEGAL asset freezes, sanctions and financial attacks on personal and state sovereignty by passing a motion that invites the US and EU to extend their asset freezes and sanctions to all Russian MPs -- a typical slavic response; we recall Yugoslav civilians holding small targets on their chests in defiance of NATO and the US illegally bombing a CIVILIAN capital city in Europe, Belgrade; notwithstanding that Yugoslavia was always allied to the UK and US but what would modern American regimes know of civilised behaviour and traditional alliances? Over the past fifteen years the US and NATO have allied themselves to known Islamic extremists and fascist groups that fought with Hitler’s Nazis during WWII, so if it walks and quacks like a duck, it ain’t no fuckin’ chicken! Words, Lies and Truth posted by lexi, 2014-03-18 00:16:43
An impulse is followed by a word, which is followed by an image, which is followed by the writer. Language is quicksand, rock and various consistencies in between. Textual production is only capable of inferring truth, hinting at something that is both tangible and intangible but existent, constant and haunting in some cases. In this context is it entirely accurate to say that truth would be lethal to Barack Obama and his administration, yet liberating to the American people. (full story)

William Hague and Julie 'spineless traitor' Bishop - an expression is worth a million words! Oz conservative government opens door to neo-colonial status for Australia posted by staff report via baz, 2014-03-16 22:02:01
Unrepresentative, minority ethnic Anglos welcome neo-colonial status for Australia, however, the overwhelming majority, including the traditional fighting Irish, Anglo independents, Europeans and Asian Aussies ALL deplore the slave mentality of the current spineless, obsequious, conservative, lick-arse government -- and the Labor Party is no different, note Gillard’s disgusting speech to the US congress.
