Rudd had earned the ire of Murdoch before he was knifed by his then deputy, Gillard. Rudd simply would not do as he was told by the plutocrats, no matter how idiotic the errand. For instance, Murdoch had ordered Rudd to form a 'NATO of the South Pacific,' an imbecilic notion given the regional REALITY. Rudd ran the errand at a regional summit and failed, naturally. But Murdoch is unused to being defied, no matter how unrealistic the order/task from the CFR, so it was goodbye Rudd the narcissist and hello Gillard the Washington CFR doormat but also, as the 'boys' discovered later, the most inept, toxic and reviled politician on earth! Firstly, the latest alarming (for gullible morons) revelation from Snowden/Greenwald is the search and aggregate NSA package named "XKeyScore," which has the ability to track your every movement on the Internet; the Guardian link covers it adequately. However, it is far from the Big Brother wet dream of the most anal control freaks, as it has a serious inadequacy, which Snowden revealed -- and this man/agent is very noticeably careful with his words. Bradley Manning’s conviction is more conclusive evidence that the US government is illegitimate. It did not take place in a real court with a real jury. The military officer who served as a “judge” was not impartial. Manning was convicted for obeying the US Military Code and doing his sworn duty to report war crimes. There is no difference between Manning’s “conviction” and the “conviction” of Bukharin as a capitalist spy. Both trials were political trials. (full story)

I just read that Bradley Manning supporters from more than 40 cities in America staged a demonstration at the offices of Maj. Gen. Jeffrey S. Buchanan (note that name), convening authority of Manning’s case in Washington. Unsurprisingly, the peaceful efforts of protesters were to no avail, as the vast majority of Americans allow the killing of INNOCENT little children in illegal wars and the railroading of Manning to continue, notwithstanding that it was for the people that Manning sacrificed his personal Freedom and well-being – the ‘gratitude’ of the American people is beyond measure, to be sure!
