Which fact highlights an obvious reality, the surveillance/police State is clearly unable to prevent terrorist attacks! So, does this proven reality, now substantiated in the UK, USA, France, Australia, etc, justify the excuse agencies and governments universally use -- “keeping us safe?” Clearly not, western societies world-wide are now able to offer incontrovertible proof that pan-surveillance and socially oppressive government policies, i.e., the removal of traditional freedoms and liberties, do NOT keep us safe. In other words governments, police and agencies should keep their INCOMPETENT noses out of our personal business. (full story)

After the recent brutal announcement of raw American supremacy by high US officials, it would seem that the mask routinely placed over the real face of criminal US foreign policy -- self-interest utilising military force -- has finally been removed. As far as America is concerned it's now OPENLY about me, me, me -- self-interest only. Notwithstanding that fact -- imperialism -- other nations have known the truth since WWII. It seems that the tattered mask of 'R2P,' 'humanitarian or democratic interventions' or whatever pretext you choose, may finally be replaced with NAKED, criminal aggression, as is current American foreign policy behind the mask/pretexts. If this is the case, removing all pretense, the world could look 'forward' to a far more aggressive USA. Now, try and imagine the consequences of that prospect for a moment! (full story)

Let’s take a good look shall we, at the state of unrepresentative western, elite rule. Clearly DEMOCRACY, defined as majority rule, has been dead for decades. The people have been reduced to voting for the ‘lesser evil,’ which is clearly not democracy, as the two major party system is owned and controlled by the same interests, the oligarchs and plutocrats, those mega-wealthy powerful minority groups that own all the major world banks and the mega-corporations. Do they represent the majority? Not a chance, yet they remain in control of western governments world-wide, which governments pledge privately before elections how much they would serve the interests of that minority while they LIE through their teeth to the disgruntled masses -- for instance, “I’ll drain the Washington swamp” -- by serving it -- LOL. Following his fantastically stupid decision to attack the Syrian military with cruise missiles, Trump or, should I say, the people who make decisions for him, probably realized that it was “game over” for any US policy in the Middle-East so they did the only thing that they could do: they ran towards those few who were actually happy with this aggression against Syria: the Saudis and the Israelis. The world today is ‘smaller’ than it has ever been in recorded history. As a result, the human species has been forced to confront itself and deal with its innate negative tendencies/behaviours, which of course are unmistakably evident today. Conflict, violence, wars, greed, all of which behaviours/tendencies arise from self-ishness and the ensuing lack of cooperation; people will either be forced to realise that humanity is indeed one or destroy itself.
