Futility

it’s inconsequential,
of no account, or of
meaningless effect,
why do you persist?

this obsessive repetition
is surely a sign of insanity/
humanity

attacking my persona
is futile, as it has
very little relation to me -
so deft i am at creating
images and personalities
that oft times i forget
which name i am using

this persona is so well crafted
that everyone
mistakes it for me

it serves me well
now for instance,
all your attempts
to disturb and hurt
are in vain,
you have not directed
your poisonous darts
and toxic venom
at the correct target,
you silly little girl

[i would give everything
to the last stitch i am wearing
just to meet
one well-adjusted
woman --
you must be out there
somewhere!]
