the hindu tantras
state that existence
issued from a
primordial sound

the ‘sound’ (sabdha)
in this case
is not of our chromatic scale,
a G or minor chord
it is vibration
the initial pulse
or heart pulse of Creation --
all sound issues from it
as does matter, energy
and everything that exists,
the Greeks named it
logos or the Word

this system teaches
that language or utterance
properly composed and articulated
is able to alter cultural reality --
an interesting proposition

does it refer to a subjective
experience or to an
objective Reality?

if the latter is indicated then
the source of all magical incantations
and spells is revealed

(ceremonial) magic
is the art of effecting
change in the real world
via the exercise of will
and ritual;
a decision is made
and appropriate actions
are taken
to realise that decision

yet a broader view reveals
that synchronising the rhythm
of personal being
with the pulse
of universal Creation
enables the individual
to merge with the infinite,
the forever

but to what end?

perhaps to gain awareness
beyond a mole’s existence
or to appreciate the continuity
of existence/Infinity

All knowledge is
available in the continuum –
the only complete body
of knowledge in existence

the primary purpose
is to gain
freedom/liberation
or personal release from
the erroneous, inculcated beliefs
and restrictive conventions
of culture

perverse patterns,
directions and behaviours
lose their impelling and compelling
force,
fear loses its grip/influence
in the clear light of
of this knowledge,
the most important cultural knowledge
is reduced to meaninglessness

indeed there are no limits to its power

but everything in due course,
for now
it may serve us well to
realise that all assaults on language
are assaults on social/cultural reality
but no-one has a monopoly
on language or reality

if your thoughts are framed in
cultural signs and symbols
and charged with emotion
know that you are subject
to that culture

if your mind is saturated with
the continuity of existence
your stream of consciousness
merges with the river
from which all creation sprang

mind what you say
and what you believe,
language seems benign
but the Australian government
has just appropriated millions
in inactive investments and accounts
by simply labelling those funds ‘unclaimed’ --
the statutory limit was reduced from seven
to three years
if those funds had not been utilised

yet the fact remains,
only a very small percentage
of inactive funds would fall into the
category of actual ‘unclaimed’
moneys

the above is just one example
of how language is used to alter
your investment reality
and appropriate your financial
assets

first Cyprus now Australia ...
