The Necessity of a Critical Approach
by nano Sunday, May 12 2013, 12:43am
international / prose / post

The lack of critical thinking in the US is producing confusion, inanity, misapprehension and social paralysis. The ensuing lack of effective opposition/dissent is facilitating the criminal status quo. I refer to leading figures Noam Chomsky and Chris Hedges as major subverters of the social forces required to formulate and organise effective social movements for social change, reform and the restoration of justice and democracy in the USA.

Chomsky repeatedly refers to spontaneous social change and refutes the reality of an historical continuous stream of evolutionary radical thought associated with all social change. He cites as examples of his erroneous thinking the politically “dead” (as he sees it) 50‘s subculture and the radical social movements of the 60‘s, which (the later) he claims appeared magically without the influence of anti-authoritarian artists and philosophers of the 50's -- whose social ideas stemmed even further back in social history. Any competent social historian is able to demonstrate HOW attitudes and influences from previous generations, formulate and influence each successive generation. Chomsky's notion of totally disconnected spontaneous change is erroneous and so flagrantly false it is a wonder blind Freddy hasn’t exposed Chomsky’s delusions or LIES.

Chomsky labours either under the delusion or deliberate intention to sell the notion that social phenomena appear magically out of vacuums, give me a break you (untrustworthy Jewish) propagandist. Chomsky asserts time and again that social change appears spontaneously from vacuums -- when in fact nothing could be further from the HISTORICAL TRUTH! Can you believe that Chomsky is actually respected as a leading voice of dissent in lobotomised America? My God, if Chomsky’s subversive tactics are believed to be dissent then there clearly is no hope for American opposition to the overtly criminal rule in which it now finds itself. It is little wonder no real opposition exists with subversive agents like Chomsky surgically amputating (thereby dis-empowering) the continuous flow of social dissent/opposition to authoritarian rule throughout history. I would again state that social change does not issue from a vacuum, as Chomsky would have dumbarse Americans believe.

Now to Chris Hedges, who recently interviewed fascist narcissist (if the shoe fits) Julian Assange in London; the title of his subsequent report/story is, ‘The Death of Truth,’ which of course is another American convolution, as Truth is immutable and inviolable, it cannot be killed, it can only be misrepresented, hidden or veiled in LIES. However, as every misrepresentation and LIE must necessarily refer to the truth it attempts to subvert/distort, Truth survives and is sustained by the very forces that wish to eliminate it; I cite the recent forensic historical revelation that Cleopatra did not commit suicide according to popular romantic myth, but was indeed politically assassinated by Roman Emperor Augustus, as one example of Truth surviving the ages. To state that Truth is “Dead” is clearly counter-productive to the ‘will of dissent’ and the PEOPLES’ desire for social reform in societies ruled by known criminals.

Hedges, however, is not as deluded or subversive as Chomsky; Hedges at least correctly identifies/refers to the real ruling elite and accurately points the finger directly at the Banks, Corporate and Commercial interests as a Plutocracy; whereas Chomsky continually refers to puppet politicians as ‘responsible’ when it is CLEAR politicians have been placed in power specifically to distract from faceless ruling Plutocrats. However, Hedges serves the interests of the ruling criminal elite by espousing a pacifist stance; he maintains and advocates a position of non-violent passivity, which suits the interests of sociopathic criminals not the people. Rather than take DIRECT ACTION against the forces he correctly identifies, Hedges refuses to ACTIVELY RESIST the forces of oppression -- there is no substitute for DIRECT ACTION Mr Hedges, especially against psychopathic mass murderers. They rejoice in your misplaced, idiotic pacifism -- America in NOT Gandhi’s India, it was won by violent revolution against Imperialist forces and its (now lost) FREEDOMS must be guarded and maintained with similar ACTIONS if necessary. Every nation has a cultural character and it appears the far right is now waking to the fact that an armed rebellion may be necessary to restore America to democracy and eliminate the criminal class that Mr Hedges and Mr Chomsky serve so very well.
