burning bright
in the forests of the night
how much brighter
is ur light?

no longer seen
in jungles
of the day
no longer burning
in the night,
what fool has murdered
ur fearful symmetry?

tiger tiger
prowling silently
in the night
who has killed
your family?

tiger tiger
last of ur kind
ur majesty, stealth
and ferocity
were no match
for commodification,
greed and blind
stupidity

tiger,
tiger tiger
arctic wolf
polar bear

human being?
