Tortured, persecuted and misrepresented by the mainstream, prisoner of conscience, Bradley Manning, made a statement in his own defence on Friday, 1 March. Manning admitted that he alone was responsible for furnishing WikiLeaks with graphic information detailing the US military’s systemic corruption and criminal activities. Manning explained that he was forced to release that information to the public as his command refused to admit or acknowledge any irregularities whatsoever. Thanks to Manning’s selfless bravery and high moral standards the world is able to assess the situation for itself and the material is as damning for the Pentagon and US administration as it could be.
Bradley Manning, hero of our time
It should be noted that Manning, while in strict extended (nine month) solitary confinement, a pre-trial punitive measure, was subjected to relentless psychological torture designed to break him and induce him to implicate others, most notably Julian Assange of WikiLeaks. To his enormous credit Manning resisted all attempts to break him and emerged morally and psychologically intact to make a statement, which due to its nature forces the now proven criminal military to pursue him with added vigour.
Bradley Manning, fully cognisant of the consequences of his actions, has demonstrated to a cowardly, cowering global population what true fortitude, moral conviction and integrity mean. What sets Manning apart from others, especially Julian Assange and Adrian Lamo, the character who reported him to the authorities, is that he is willing to face his criminal accusers and pay the price for his moral and ethical convictions -- in the prevailing circumstances that clearly defines Manning as a hero by any standard.

Manning's only hope in the current situation, where the criminal accused is absurdly sitting in judgement of the moral and brave accuser, is the people and the society Manning hoped to save and benefit. If the people were endowed individually with only a fraction of Manning's extraordinary courage and fortitude he would be released in an instant.
The issue is about criminal activity at the highest levels of government; puppet Obama is on record for declaring Manning guilty, a very odd public outburst from a trained lawyer who clearly knows better.
Manning in actuality has delivered to the people of the world the means by which they/we can restore law, order and justice to our respective societies by simply rallying behind him/Manning and demanding his unconditional release -- Manning is guilty of nothing more than exposing war crimes and revealing the systemic corruption behind those war crimes. Since the implementation of new laws and conventions after WWII, Manning's actions are definitely NOT crimes, they are the actions of a just, moral person of conviction and remarkable bravery.
Free Bradley Manning and prosecute those guilty of war crimes instead -- it's that simple. If we abandon Bradley Manning we may also have unwittingly abandoned our last chance to restore law, order, democracy and Freedom to our rapidly deteriorating cultures/societies. Bradley Manning has done all he can, it's our move.
