Make Believe Democracy in Oz
by stacy Thursday, Feb 7 2013, 9:57pm
international / prose / post

The universally reviled Oz PM, Juliar Gillard -- who represents Washington (bases and occupation troops) and the Corporate/Banking sector (Carbon Tax) -- recently announced that Aussies will go to the polls in September. Normally this news would have been greeted with great relief as the Oz population now has a known date on which to exercise its prerogatives and turf Gillard and her witless Party into the political wilderness for eternity, but not this time; the choice presents no real choice at all!

Labor has had so many chances and has blown it so many times it doesn’t warrant further mention, though State elections tell a very accurate story; the Labor Party has been slaughtered in unprecedented losses in every State election since Gillard became PM.

Now, you would think in a healthy democracy that the Labor Party would have got the hint -- GILLARD IS DETESTED -- but no, she remains leader and is poised to destroy what’s left of the Labor movement/Party in Australia.

Gillard is renowned for he treasonous kow-towing to Washington and TOTAL DISCONNECT/DISREGARD for the Australian people; yet her once, ‘Party of the people,’ continues to accept her as leader. I offer no explanation other than to say the insular, corporate ‘top down’ as against ‘floor up’ disease has completely infected Labor politics.

The election is a farce, similar to the ‘choice’ between two other Corporate servants, Romney and Obama. Two loathed Oz politicians ‘will fight it out’ at election time but neither represents the majority of Australians -- Gillard is a known reviled quantity, while her 'opponent’ Tony Abbott, may require some background information.

Abbott is a Jesuit trained, authoritarian, arch-conservative ‘top down’ type, ready to serve exactly the same conservative interests that Gillard so faithfully served while in office -- there is NO DEMOCRATIC CHOICE, as both major parties have been captured by Corporate interests; to put it in graphic terms it’s a choice between dog and cat SHIT!

So now it’s Australia’s turn to demonstrate how ‘make believe pretend democracies’ function; both major parties have been captured and are owned by Transnational corporate and Banking interests. We should never forget the infamous slip made by former PM Kevin Rudd, “when we gain office we won’t have to do anything” -- meaning all decisions will be made by the UNREPRESENTATIVE elite forces referred to.

However, it is fortunate that Oz politics has not been completely savaged by minority interests; minor parties and REAL REPRESENTATIVE INDEPENDENTS present as viable choices when major parties present no choice at all -- Abbott or Gillard, you must be bloody joking?

Refuse puppet government and restore democracy to Oz, always vote REPRESENTATIVE INDEPENDENTS to office at every State and Federal election.
