Fiction and Fact -- the ‘news’ conundrum

To highlight what textual and semiotic theorists argue I would ask that you consider the fact that realities cannot be successfully translated from three dimensions to lesser dimensions, for instance, reality is three dimensional, text, video and images are trapped in two dimensions. So essentially all reporting of a three dimensional event fails the truth test, as it cannot be re-presented successfully. However, it would be impractical not to report information as best we can, the world, especially culture, is shaped and floats on a ‘sea’ of information, false or otherwise.

The fact that reporting automatically becomes fiction, as it fails to re-present accurately and is prone to huge manipulative abuse and clever re-presentations, is of little concern in a pragmatic world that survives on information. And so the reader or interpreter is left to construct a meaningful personal reality from all the 'realities' presented though various 'disseminators' of information would always do their best to lead readers to a predetermined conclusion. Awareness of that fact is essential if one wishes to understand the PROCESS of culture, as distinct from existential, reality. In other words, numerous realities are created by information disseminators and reader constructions, hence the need to lead or propagandise by some, as dominant culture requires constant reinforcement via information.

‘News’ cycles are repetitive for a reason, persist with a ‘line’ until it establishes itself as a (given) reality whether it has any basis in three dimensional REALITY or not. What is believed and what is real vary considerably at all times.

So what to do with our precious self-determination? The Irish have an anecdote, ‘believe nothing you hear and only half of what you SEE!’ Point taken, as all information is indeed fiction, even our empirical senses are limited! However, if we must live in fantasy is it not preferable to live in a harmonious, peaceful and enjoyable world, not a world created for us by self-interested entities that own/control information systems? Read their ‘news’ presentations to verify why the world is as it is, and be sure to realise that it was CREATED this way to serve the interests of the few, which of course injures the many as there is a cost to everything.

Institutionalised servants of the elites, Pentagon, CIA, FBI, Police, etc, must reinforce the designs of certain powerful players otherwise they lose their positions to others that would gladly serve. So it is no surprise that all news is ‘fake news’, fictions created that serve the interests of the owners/designers of a prevailing culture, you would do the same in their positions, notwithstanding that most would not become mass murderers, as the insane, current ruling elites clearly are today.

So the healthy minded moral majority must ensure they create a better reality for themselves, as CLEARLY the current plan/design is nihilistic, but it is profitable! So who benefits and who loses? A rhetorical question as the answer screams in everyone’s face -- inequality is at its peak since recorded history began, in fact the domestic slaves of the Roman Empire fared better than many debt slaves today, debt slavery is of course also designed as is the value of essentially worthless currency, it is we that invest the worthless with value via productive labour and psychological subscription to a fairy tale or nightmare reality.

Now understand that power is process, it must be exercised, for example, power requires subjects and imposers or ‘subjectors’ -- to which one of these categories do you belong? However, three dimensional existential reality is that no-one need be subject to anything if the entity becomes aware of how 'subjects' are created via cultural fictions and impositions, plain to see, and without subjects there are no (nefarious) ruling elites. No-one can really rob you of your sovereign self-determination/freedom, YOU must SURRENDER it, hence the constant reinforcement of a designed cultural, fictional reality to facilitate the process.

So without anything more than awareness and understanding you regain your real freedom. The reality you would then create for yourself is not my concern only that you create it, my basis issues from the inherent knowledge that the majority of human beings are essentially, sane, peace-loving and wish to live harmonious lives, it is on that basis that I have full confidence in the reality YOU create as it would be compatible with innate human aspirations, not the grossly unfair, divisive, violent realities created for us by pathological personalities.

Have a nice peaceful day and LIFE, it’s a matter of choice for the aware, as increased awareness enables powerful survival skills.
