no coward enters paradise

but for a few notable exceptions
today's societies
are tragically
over-populated with losers

people, unaware of their
pathetic condition ignore
the injustices around them
or worse, acquiesce to the
authority of criminals in high office

beaten, fearful and pressed
into the ground
the masses are content to eat shit,
wallow in delusion
and accept the most transparent lies
regarding their condition

rather than oppose and remedy
widening disparities and inequities
the masses make do with ever decreasing
amounts of their rightful share

the criminal pigs at the top
seem to have won the day,
but nothing is ever what
it appears/seems
to be
