Australian Democracy and the TPP

The Most Criminal Treaty in History

By definition democracy is MAJORITY rule either directly or by political representation, as is most often the case. Representation occurs by political hopeful’s spruiking their support/policies in favour of the public/MAJORITY interest, as it is the majority that votes representatives into power, granting support or a mandate from the majority to rule in their interests – the entire procedure is open and transparent, an absolutely critical factor in democratic systems of government.

However, once in power, political ‘representatives’ usually pursue agendas other than those promised, usually in direct opposition to majority interests; Obama and former PM Abbott of Australia are typical examples of lying, duplicitous hounds bought by minority unrepresentative interests to serve their agendas. ‘Shadow government’ minorities utilise direct monetary means or mass media (influential) means to corrupt the democratic process and buy support. Needless to say these minority interests command huge wealth assets/reserves and or media influence (usually both) to maintain their puppets in power and DECEIVE/placate the public and so we have treasonous illegal governments serving criminal interests as this entire process subverts constitutions and domestic constitutional law.

Nevertheless, it should not be forgotten that it is the majority that actually hold the LEGAL reins of power in all democracies.

Now, representatives often utilise the excuse, as that all it is, to pursue foreign, minority agendas of ‘their’ choice by stating that they have a mandate from the people/majority to rule even when those policies are in diametric opposition to majority interests. However, ‘excuses’ when challenged effectively in national courts of law almost always fall on their illegal faces, though these challenges are rare; the latest successful challenge of this nature was launched by an environmental group in Australia to halt the development of a huge coal mine, a self-serving environmentally unfriendly minority entity. The response from the minority-serving Abbott lackey government was to propose changes to the law to accommodate the interests of the minority corporate entity, which treasonous/bought politicians serve. If these changes are accepted by both houses they are implemented into law and goodbye legal remedies. So it stands to reason that the majority must be ever vigilant to ensure honest representation and when that representation fails and breaches majority trust or the stated and understood mandate to rule, the public is able to remove the offending government either by legal avenues/challenges, or failing that removing them at the next general election, where hopefully REAL representatives would be installed into power.

I referred earlier to TRANSPARENCY as being a vital component of the democratic process, which clearly infers that any secret deals/activities by serving politicians to which the public has not been included or consulted are in effect, illegal. The flimsy easily challenged excuse that lackey politicians have a mandate when they engage in activities and deals that serve foreign interests or domestic minority interests simply does not cut it under existing law. In fact there could not be a greater offence to democracy and domestic law than for a serving politician/government to make secret deals with vested, minority, foreign interests. Yet the conservative party of Australia has done just that by signing a secret deal, that not only serves foreign minority interests but also attempts to circumvent local law by allowing those interests to sue democratically elected governments for huge sums of tax-payer money if corporate profits are adversely affected by of course, the national interest – give me and democracy a break!

Furthermore, secrecy of contractual details must be maintained by signatory nations for four years after the contract is signed FOR OBVIOUS REASONS, ‘off with their heads,’ being the foremost fear of treasonous offenders.

An Australian conservative politician on the 5th of October with 11 other participating nations/minsters has just signed the nation into the most appalling corporate slavery imaginable, the deal ‘attempts,’ as it has not been challenged in the courts, to transfer sovereignty and legal remedies into foreign, self-serving hands – what an utter travesty and sick joke on the people, the majority of which are currently unaware of the details as it is SECRET and will remain secret for four years after implementation – though that treasonous state of affairs does not exclude immediate challenges by the people. However, mum’s the word and courts would not be able to subpoena copies of relevant documents as government would have forfeited legal rights to a third foreign party!

So when the people are faced with degraded working conditions, lower wages, higher prices and environmental vandalism, serving politicians would not be able to explain why – it should also be noted that both major (bought) parties in Australia support this deal, known euphemistically as the Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP), which amounts to unrepresentative, CORPORATE GOVERNMENT.
