The Death of Participation and the Illusion of Democracy

Take for example the current political choice in Australia; Juliar Gillard the Banker whore and Washington doormat and Tony Abbott, arch Catholic conservative, servant to the Corporates and misogynist. Or the US choice; two automatons serving the plutocrats, George W Obama and pathological lying multi-millionaire, Mitt Romney.
This is NOT representative democracy, it is an arranged and manipulated imposition by unelected ruling elites.
When the people are incapable of working together and effecting social change democracy dies.
The notion that the people are powerless and must choose between two unrepresentative candidates owned by the same interests is false. If democracy means anything it means PARTICIPATION -- that is the path, door and key to national freedom, liberty and MAJORITY rule.
The following videos on 'democracy' are highly recommended:
Democracy is continuous process -- it must be ACTIVELY ENGAGED in order to exist, it is ongoing participation, whether by representation or direct involvement. Failure to maintain participation forfeits representation and Democracy quickly dies. What inevitably replaces Democracy is various forms of draconian CENTRALIST social control.
