Washington Retriever Tony Abbott Does a Bush

Clad in a military leather jacket, well-trained Australian attack dog Tony Abbott flew by helicopter to a US naval vessel ‘inside’ Sydney harbour to dine with the ‘admiral’ and discuss Australia’s vassal status. Of course, we already know it will be ‘yez boss’ all the way with the war mongering yanks -- ‘owzat for an invertebrate leader of a sovereign nation that should be neutral and exploiting its position in the region as a mediator between East and West but that requires a real statesman with political skills, like Josef Broz Tito for example, who was able to keep both the USSR and the Americans at bay and maintain INDEPENDENCE for his tiny Balkan nation during the cold war; however, well trained dogs being what they are always fetch the bone.
Abbott said, “it's a very comforting presence ..” to have the mass murdering, invasive, nation destroying -- Iraq, Afghanistan, Libya, Syria, etc -- US military intrude on our peaceful shores.
One wonders about the implication of his comment “comforting,” is Abbott expecting an attack from angry south pole penguins, coming to get everyone for ‘global warming,’ because Oz is not threatened by any nation in the region? However, the US imagines 'it' is and is clearly targeting Australia’s largest trading partner, China, which has invaded no-one, and is not engaged in any external murderous, aggressive behaviour, in fact, China's recent measures in the South China Sea are to ensure its shipping trading routes are not threatened by the Americans or anyone else.
No doubt Abbott will do his predictable best to distort, beat-up, LIE and distract the Oz public from the Truth about America’s real ambitions, which have been published in the PNAC document, which is simply a lunatic, dangerous American doctrine to achieve and maintain WORLD domination at any cost, a thoroughly insane pursuit in the modern age.
Notwithstanding Abbott’s obvious duplicity, insincerity and supreme COWARDICE he can be ‘comforted’ in the knowledge that all previous Australian leaders, with the notable exception of Gough Whitlam, have kow-towed to the yanks. It would be a very suitable gesture to gift Abbott, when he returns to shore -- a few hundred metres from the vessel -- with a pair of knee-pads, a Pinocchio nose and a plastic spine.
And so we can expect the usual LIES and misrepresentations from Abbott’s ‘comforting’ (for the yanks) servile lunch with the admiral and the joint war games soon to be conducted up North -- let’s hope the dumb, shoot first yanks do not drop live bombs on the Great Barrier Reef this time.
