Romney's honest remarks do the people a service
by judd Thursday, Sep 20 2012, 10:40am
international / prose / post

Let's not kid ourselves, Romney's contemptuous regard and brutal attitude for average people is not a surprise. His negative references to half the population as "filthy beggars, garbage pickers and uneducated, loathsome scum,” is shared by the rich all over the world, notwithstanding it betrays a certain dissociative response. Romney's contempt for average people is typical of his insular class; it is insignificant that millions of innocent people perish as a direct consequence of Transnational Corporations pursuing profits. We should thank Mr Romney for closing the door on denial; all doubts regarding our 'loathsome' and expendable status have been removed. Romney's indiscretions may yet become society's salvation!

Plutocrats imagine they have 'built it all themselves' that somehow the masses that actually built EVERYTHING, account for nothing.

However, reality dictates that insular Plutocrats, of which Romney is a superb example, are ENTIRELY dependent on all of us for their survival and it's about time they were taught a lesson.

The secret to effecting change is simple; LOCALIZE your energy and influence. You may not be able to change the nation but you sure as hell are able to change your immediate environment. For example, the workforce that slaves for any given Corporation is able to hold that company to ransom by simply demonstrating that it is the workforce that runs over 90% of the company -- never allow union demarcations to divide a workforce in any given company!

National actions are becoming difficult to co-ordinate but not so localised work groups. A workforce is housed in one building, which makes organisational strategies very simple. If you feel that management takes you for granted then simply organise a general meeting of all workers to discuss grievances and allow management to witness their power and profits begin to evaporate.

'Loathsome scum' soon become indispensable components in the overall scheme of things and any tendency to take them for granted should be met with a reminder that another meeting to discuss wages, conditions, physical safety and psychological well-being in the workplace is overdue.

It should be made VERY CLEAR that minority parasitic plutocrats are entirely dependent on average people for everything.

Put succinctly the elite need to learn 'R-E-S-P-E-C-T.'

However, if you are unable to effect change or organise in your immediate environment then perhaps Romney is right, you are nothing more than loathsome, uneducated, worthless, expendable scum!

Postscript:
Interesting to note is the corporate mass media making light of Romney's comments by pushing the comedy line rather than viewing it as a TRUE and accurate portrayal.
