Murdoch on Abbott - an exercise in Unreality and total Disconnect

Never before have I attempted to make a statement/quote an entire article, as a single quote would be inadequate and far too thin. However, regarding the little bewdy below, which speaks volumes, we have the classic exception.

It is no secret that Murdoch placed Tony Abbott in a winning position; and Abbott, true to his character, did his part by brazenly deceiving the Australian public and swearing total loyalty, not to the Oz population but to Murdoch.

Supported by the Murdoch media, Abbott LIED his way into Office and then immediately turned on the people by reneging on almost every undertaking and promise he made prior to the election. Few are amused by this man and his duplicitous ways -- the public would like nothing more than to see Abbott buried for his treachery.

Now comes the most divorced from reality statement about Abbott ever recorded and, unsurprisingly, it was made by Rupert Murdoch:

“I’ve met Mr Abbott three or four times and my impression is that he is the most admirable, honest, principled man and something that we really need as a Prime Minister, we can all look up to and admire,” Mr Murdoch said.
WHAT!?

The urgency to remove Abbott from office can be felt on the streets. Abbott must be prevented from implementing Murdoch's directives and agenda to subvert Australian traditional values, culture and sovereignty. Put directly, Abbott must be FORCED out of office in his first year otherwise he'll trash all our sacred cultural values, which identify us as uniquely Australian, and transform this great, incredibly wealthy nation, into a pathetic little America -- the world's leading arsehole, genitally groped, Police State, slave nation!
