Putin offers Iraq "complete support" to oust US backed ISIL Insurgency
by staff report via jake - AFP Sunday, Jun 22 2014, 3:31am
international / prose / post

Could it really be true? After handing over Libya/Gaddafi to NATO/US forces Putin remains very suspect indeed, but in a classic Titoist manoeuvre Putin's offer to Maliki to rout the terrorists would rob the USA of its stolen OIL while making it OBVIOUS to the entire world that America is behind the ISIL insurgency; this is indeed a brilliant tactical move on Putin's part though I trust that puppet as much as I trust puppet Obama.

We'll see how it pans out, though there is a slim possibility that Putin may have been forced, perhaps with a gun to his head, to become an independent Russian leader once again, but it's the manoeuvre that counts -- and it's straight out of the Art of War by Sun Tzu; which begs the question where is China? Surely 'comrades' (LOL) if you wish to be a world power of cringing slaves you had better learn fast how to play world politics and shake that 'yellow dog slave' image once and for all!

World leaders and informed commentators are well aware that the USA has been and is behind most of the terrorist activity in the world today, from the KLA in the Balkans to ISIL in the Middle East -- why fight when you can get a bunch of inbred fanatical morons to do the dirty work for you?

It's a very simple equation, sponsor proxy fighters and give them a Caliphate or Sharia State, as was done in Libya, in exchange for their services while maintaining control of stolen gold, cash and resources in conquered territories. Putin's tactic could easily force America to show its ugly hand to the WORLD, hilarious!

But it's all in how you play the international game of real, and in America's case, surrealpolitik. Nevertheless, Putin's move is as 'real' as it gets. America's duplicitous underwear may soon be hanging on the line -- with the attached price-tag of TOTAL CREDIBILITY LOSS fluttering in the breeze, we shall see!

Report from The Daily Star follows -- (keep yr eye on the ball ppl, this is getting interesting):

Putin offers Iraq's Maliki 'complete support' against jihadists

MOSCOW: Russian President Vladimir Putin on Friday offered Iraqi Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki Moscow's total backing for the fight against jihadist fighters who have swept across the Middle East country.

"Putin confirmed Russia's complete support for the efforts of the Iraqi government to speedily liberate the territory of the republic from terrorists," the Kremlin said in a statement following a phone call between the two leaders.

Maliki, increasingly under pressure at home and abroad, told Putin about steps the Iraqi government was taking to turn back a lightning offensive by the radical Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL), that has overrun swathes of northern and central Iraq.

"It was noted that the activities of extremists conducting military operations on the territory of Syria has taken on a cross-border character and now threaten the security of the whole region," the statement said.

The conversation came after US President Barack Obama stopped short of acceding to Maliki's appeal for air strikes against the Sunni Muslim insurgents, prompting neighbouring Shiite Iran to charge that Washington lacked the "will" to fight terror.

On Friday the Kremlin's top foreign policy advisor Yury Ushakov told journalists that Putin would soon hold phone talks with Obama, in part, about the situation in Iraq.

Russia has blamed the latest violence sweeping Iraq on the 2003 US-led invasion of the country and said that any strikes on jihadist forces would have to be authorised by the United Nations.

Russia is one of the staunchest allies of Syrian strongman Bashar al-Assad and has helped prop up his regime during three years of fighting against a hotchpotch of rebel groups, including the ISIL.
