The ISIL Advance in Iraq and Washington's Armchair Response
by jalal Sunday, Jun 15 2014, 6:05am
international / prose / post

It would seem from the extra-ordinary 'laid-back' response of Washington to ISIL's 'shock and awe' advance against massively superior forces in Mosul -- approx 20K troops according to The Guardian -- and other major cities in Iraq that something is on the nose. Thirty thousand trained and well armed troops of the regular Iraqi army do not just drop their weapons and run when attacked by less than 1000 extremists, nor do their officers unless, of course, things have been pre-arranged.

The Guardian also noted that ISIL is backed and supported by the usual two terrorist supporting nations Saudi and Qatar, which of course work in concert with the US and Israel.

If the US did not have prior knowledge of this offensive, and in view of the highly unusual blistering speed advance with virtually no resistance, Obama and his handlers would be jumping through ceilings, but it's just a walk in the rose garden -- perhaps the Iraqi people are greeting ISIL with "bouquets of flowers," but I doubt it, what do you think, Mr Wolfowitz?

OK, here's the current assessment, and I thank Robert Fisk for giving me the lead.

We know that the US lost control of its proxy terrorist fighters in Syria, which forced them to rely again on the Saudis and to a lesser extent on Qatar for more assistance with terrorist fighters. Note the time lag since the previous US proxy terrorist leader fighting al-Assad got turfed by other groups and was lucky to escape with his life.

That outcome, with the US now without a proxy fighting force, called for plan B, which appears to be the new proxy terrorist group ISIL/ISIS, which emanates from both Syria and Iraq, how convenient! Now note the title of Fisk's article, "The old partition of the Middle East is dead. I dread to think what will follow;" there it is in a nutshell! Plan B is in fact a planned strategy to divide the Middle East along more sectarian and ethnic grounds, as the previous divisions bunched Persians, Arabs, Kurds, sectarian Sunni, Alawite and Shia together in unmanageable mixes -- a very difficult situation for Washington to corrupt/bribe and control .

So, we return to what the US has been doing over the past decade, send in the most extreme group to take over, 'sort' the competition, and then install the brutalists as the new puppet government or Caliphate that rules locals with an iron fist in newly divided regions in the Middle East, now why didn't I see that the first time?

The world should at least now be aware of what analysts and commentators have been in full knowledge of for decades, that the USA/CIA via the Saudis and Qatar is responsible for almost all (including 9/11) Muslim extremist/terrorist activity in the world today.

America, credibility rating, ZERO!

Any nation that allies itself to America deserves what it gets, as America serves only its own interests and has no regard whatsoever for human life or any other humanitarian issue -- the true portrait of this mass murdering nation is painted in pure evil!

The remedy is of course simple, jail and/or hang the criminals and conspirators responsible for most international terrorist activity and the hijacking of numerous democracies around the globe.
