Erodoğan and Netanyahu Declare War posted by James Petras via jess, 2015-08-01 19:12:28 The rulers of the two most powerful authoritarian regimes in the Middle East are launching major wars to reconfigure the Middle East. Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu has declared war by proxy on Iran, announcing full-scale military mobilization within Israel (July 27 -29) and organizing the biggest political campaign of ultra Zionist Jews in Washington. The purpose of this two-pronged propaganda blitz is to defeat the recently signed US-Iranian agreement and start another major Middle East war. Ultimately, Netanyahu intends to take care of his ‘Palestinian Problem’ for good: complete the conquest and occupation of Palestine and expelling the Palestinian people from their homeland – the single most important foreign policy and domestic goal of the Jewish state. In order to do this, Israeli leaders have had to systematically campaign for the destruction of the Palestinians regional supporters and sympathizers – Iraq, Libya, Syria, Lebanon and Iran. Why Do We Insist On Lying To Ourselves About a Vulnerable Ruling Elite? posted by Sylvain Lamoureux via jaxie, 2015-08-01 03:55:23 As I read, learn and live I see the ever-increasing number of peoples who claim to be "awake". These people with their research, documents, web links; all "evidence" that they must be "awake" lament the existence of the elite 1% controlling the world, poisoning our water and food, wreaking havoc on our financial systems, chem-trails, drugging, killing, torturing, imprisoning... the list is endless. What they don't see is that it is not the 1% but rather the 99% that are the enablers of this catastrophe that we refer to as civilization and which hinders any kind of progression into human evolution. Assange, Pilger and the rest – a cogent lesson in FOLLY for today’s underground elite posted by wakz, 2015-08-01 02:23:30 I hardly know where to begin as the comedy of errors and the ineffective bleating of antiquated journalists and commentators is overwhelming. (full story) prose / international

Known LIAR and deceiver Oz PM Abbott makes awkward recent comments on MH370 wild goose chase posted by jared, 2015-07-30 21:35:30 Firstly, it should be appreciated that it was DUNCE Abbott, under the directions of Washington, who led the world on a costly wild goose chase for the missing airliner, based solely, at the time, on a semi-submerged shipping container in the Southern Indian Ocean, not in the western Indian Ocean as advised by contributors to this site that have researched ALL available evidence including the known fact that Boeing computer systems allow for hardware backdoor take over by remote systems, probably in this instance, from the highly secretive US military communications station at Diego Garcia. I’m not about to pursue the matter now as the 'wreckage' found in the correct vicinity is unconfirmed to date and as a professional analyst, I do not believe in coincidences or make knee-jerk assumptions based on Murdoch press releases. No Will No Way posted by mitch, 2015-07-30 01:19:44 It must be accepted that social change/reform only occurs when the majority demand it. The numerous analysts and commentators of the alternative media are “pissing in the wind” revealing facts and truths/REALITY to the masses -- as dubya Bush once expressed it, on elite advice I would hasten to add. So the stark reality that the captured masses would rather line up in the streets to purchase the latest digital gadget rather than assert their social prerogative and exercise democratic influence over their non-representative governments has to be addressed or preaching to the miniscule percent of converted would continue without effect. The New Enemy – a clear and present danger to Freedom and Democracy posted by justin, 2015-07-29 04:15:39 Greece has been defeated, vanquished and devastated, not by military force or invasion but by banks, yes, unregulated, parasitic, financially powerful banks! Not even the Nazi invasion of Greece during WWII was as destructive to the Greek nation as the western banking system has been today – FACT! Now think about that for a minute. A once sovereign, democratic free nation has lost its sovereignty, national assets, its right to self-determination and the right to tolerable living conditions for its working and retired population. Varoufakis’ Scramble to Save Face – A ‘Plan B’ that never was! posted by stavros, 2015-07-27 22:34:48 In a recent Telegraph story worthy of a James Bond movie, former Greek finance minister, Yanis Varoufakis, attempts to save face by describing how he intended to maintain liquidity in Greece’s economy by hacking into computer systems and enabling euro transfers first in the form of IOUs then possibly to the drachma, notwithstanding the overt illegality of the plan. Take Ibuprofen and Die - believe the Regulators posted by Mike Whitney via jaxie, 2015-07-25 18:51:34 In case you missed it: The FDA has just issued a warning on various prescription and non-prescription drugs that Americans ingest by the boatload. As it happens, these seemingly benign pain relievers can kill you even if you scrupulously follow the recommended dosage. But don’t take my word for it. Here’s a blurb from the FDA website:
“FDA is strengthening an existing warning in prescription drug labels and over-the-counter (OTC) Drug Facts labels to indicate that nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) can increase the chance of a heart attack or stroke, either of which can lead to death. Those serious side effects can occur as early as the first few weeks of using an NSAID, and the risk might rise the longer people take NSAIDs. The Myth of the Necessity of Austerity and the outright Lie that Inequality is Natural posted by cyd, 2015-07-25 10:25:48 Most of us are able to recall certain aspects of social discourse and religious doctrine which state that inequality/poverty is inevitable; however, it’s a LIE, which should be obvious to all. How China and Russia Are Running Rings Around Washington posted by Pepe Escobar via stacey, 2015-07-24 10:27:19 Let’s start with the geopolitical Big Bang you know nothing about, the one that occurred just two weeks ago. Here are its results: from now on, any possible future attack on Iran threatened by the Pentagon (in conjunction with NATO) would essentially be an assault on the planning of an interlocking set of organizations -- the BRICS nations (Brazil, Russia, India, China, and South Africa), the SCO (Shanghai Cooperation Organization), the EEU (Eurasian Economic Union), the AIIB (the new Chinese-founded Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank), and the NDB (the BRICS' New Development Bank) -- whose acronyms you’re unlikely to recognize either. Still, they represent an emerging new order in Eurasia. (full story) prose / international
