ISIL’s Primary Mission FAIL - to Eliminate Assad

Make no mistake, the raison d’etre of ISIL, as a US created and supported proxy fighting force, was to eliminate Assad, however, as is painfully (for Washington) obvious it has failed so the US has publicly contemplated direct intervention itself, which ‘news’ forced a visit to Moscow of Assad’s foreign minister to seek assurances of support, which was promised by Putin without hesitation or reservation; in plain words, if the US intervenes in Syria so will Russia and possibly China with an appropriate or greater retaliatory response. So there it is, a failed proxy fighting force that succeeded in (abandoned) Libya -- shame on you Putin -- but not Syria.

Furthermore, ISIL is now intoxicated on its perceived (gifted actually) victories, I should mention its secondary mission was to facilitate the partition of Syria and Iraq into ‘manageable’ regions according to the Bernard Lewis plan. However, the US is clearly losing control of ISIL as it now imagines itself to be a conquering Caliphate, which is causing much concern in Washington, notwithstanding that ISIL could be quashed almost overnight by western forces if the will existed, but its propaganda value is saving it for the moment. Most readers would have noticed how puppet western politicians are overblowing the ISIL threat for political purposes, which are undisguised, to implement ever more repressive laws and measures to contain local populations NOT terrorists.

So, US ‘group-think’ tanks (dunces that created ISIL) have a dilemma on their hands as ISIL leaders are playing them off a break. What happens next is any analyst’s guess as there are a number of possibilities, the most dangerous to the world is an escalating conflict between Russia and the US and a nuclear war breaking out in the Middle East, which both nations would prefer as that region is far removed from their nations – suck on that expendable (headache) Israel!

For mine, I require a little more information before making a final judgement so following is the Reuters very short piece on Syria’s FM obtaining assurances from Russia. However, I would commit to this forecast, WWIII is inevitable but where it will begin is as yet unclear.

From Reuters:

Syria says Russia promises wide range of support

Syria's foreign minister said on a visit to Moscow on Monday that top ally Russia had promised to send political, economic and military aid to his country.

"I got a promise of aid to Syria - politically, economically and militarily," Walid al-Moualem said at a televised news conference in Moscow after meeting Russian President Vladimir Putin.
